Özet
Teknoloji hayatı kolaylaştırmak için tarih sahnesinde göründüünden beri hayatımızda birçok şeyi deiştirmektedir. Öyle ki, icatlarla gelişen teknoloji hayatımızı kolaylaştırmakta, hayatımızı ve çevremizi deiştirmektedir. Son yıllarda küreselleşme akımıyla başlayan, ekonomik, sosyo-kültürel ve yönetsel dönüştürme faaliyetleri, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin de etkisiyle hız kazanmıştır. Bu faaliyetler dünyaya bilhassa uluslar arası organlarca bilgi toplumu adı altında benimsetilmektedir. Bilgi toplumu olmanın en önemli şartlarından biri de teknolojiye ayak uydurmaktır. Teknolojiye ayak uyduran devletler ve kurumlar başarılı olmuşlardır. Bu nedenle güvenlik hizmeti veren bir kurum olan polis de teknolojiye ayak uydurmak zorundadır. letişim ve bilgi teknolojilerindeki gelişmeler yurttaş-devlet ilişkilerini de gayri resmi (samimi) bir ortama taşımakta. E-devlet kavramı, erişilmez olan devlete bir internet sitesi üzerinden ulaşılma olanaı sunuyor. Gelecein polisi hukuk, teknoloji, insan hakları vb konularda çok bilgili olmalı. Bilgi toplumu polisi olmak için polis, tüm teknolojik olanakları kullanmak zorundadır. Polisin asıl görevi halka hizmet sunmaktır. Bu hizmeti sunarken polis hiçbir zaman üniformalı bir yurttaş olduunu unutmamalıdır. E-polis sistemi hem yurttaş hem de personel memnuniyeti açısından en gerekli ve faydalı sistemdir. Türkiye'de Emniyet Genel Müdürlüü birçok e-polis uygulamasını başarıyla uygulamaktadır.

Technology has changed so many things in our lives since the time it has appeared on the stage of history to make life easy. It seems, technology, growing by innovations, is now far beyond, making life easy, it change our lives, our environment. The transformation activities in economic, social, cultural and administrative fieldes which begin globolisation trends, gain by the effects of information and communication tecnologies in recent years. These activities are taught to world under the name of information society by the international organizations. The important conditions of to be communication society is to fall in step technology. The states and instutions fall in step technology were successful. were successfiul. Because of this the police that they services to us security, fall in step technology. The developments in the information and communication technologies carried citizengovernment relations to the virtual environment. The ?e-government? concept made the onceinaccessible government an internet portal. The police of the future will be extremely knowledgeable and well-informed in the subjects such as law, technology, human rights etc. The police must use all technological ş to be information society police. The main task of the police; to serve security to citizens. And the police don?t forget he is a citizen with uniform, when serving security. E-police(police using technology) aplications ensure many easiness to citizens. The e-police system is the most necessary and beneficial system for citizens and personnels pleasure. Turkish Police Department practices many e-police applications.
