Özet
Arastırmada Erzurum Yöresinde Oltutası islemeciligi ile ugrasan ustaların ve Oltu Meslek Yüksek Okulunda Kıymetli Tas ve Metal slemeciligi Bölümünde Görev yapan ögretim elemanlarının görüslerine göre, Oltu tasının geçmisten günümüze geçirdigi evreler, günümüzdeki yeri ve kullanım alanları incelenmistir. Arastırmanın evrenini, Erzurum yöresinde Oltu tası islemeciligi ile ugrasan kisiler olusturmaktadır. Arastırmada betimsel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıstır. Yazılı kaynaklardan elde edilen bilgiler kavramsal çerçevede verilmistir. Bu arastırma kapsamında, 32 üreticiden tespit edilen Oltu tasından yapılmıs 41 adet ürün için bilgi formu düzenlenmis, Oltu tası ile ugrasan ustalar için anket formu kullanılmıstır. Bilgi formları ve anket formları tablolastırılarak açıklanmıs ve sonuçlar yüzde olarak ortaya konulmustur. Tezin tamamı 314 sayfadan ibarettir. Arastırma sonucunda 1. Oltu tası islemeciligi her geçen gün el sanatlarımız içindeki önemini kaybetmekte bu meslek yavas yavas kaybolmaktadır. 2. Oltu tası islemeciligi ile ugrasan ustalar yaptıkları ürünleri pazarlayamadıkları için emeklerinin karsılıgını alamamakta ve bu meslegi bırakmak istemektedir. v vi 3. Oltu tası üretimiyle ugrasan usta sayısı her geçen gün biraz daha azalmasına ragmen meslegin inceliklerini ögretecek çırak bulmakta zorlanmaktadırlar. 4. Çok zor sartlarda Oltu tası çıkaran köylüler tasları uygun fiyatta satamadıkları için ve ustaların daha ucuz oldugu için Oltu tasına benzer taslar kullanması nedeniyle bu isi bırakmaktadırlar. 5. Oltu tası islemeciligini gelistirmek amacı ile Erzurum Atatürk Üniversitesi Oltu Meslek Yüksek Okulunda açılan Kıymetli Tas ve Metal slemeciliginden mezun olan elemanlar için yeterli istihdam bulunmaması nedeniyle bu bölüm ragbet görmemektedir. 6. Arastırmada 41 adet ürün incelenmis, bu ürünler içerisinde en çok altın ve gümüs kakma yapılan tespihlerin ragbet gördügü gözlenmistir. Arastırma sonunda ortaya çıkan sorunlara dayalı olarak arastırmacı tarafından ortaya konulan önerilere yer verilmektedir.

In this research, according to the views of the foremen who are working on operating of Stone Oltu in Erzurum and also the views of the edıcation staff working in Oltu Professional Institution of Higher Education Department of Precious Stone and Metal the phases of Stone Oltu from past to the present, its position in our life and the fields of usage of it have been studied. The extent of this study consists of the people who are dealing with Stone Oltu business in Erzurum. Because of not reaching to the whole of the extent of thisresearch, the examples only havebeen taken out. In the scope of this research an information form for the products made from Stone Oltu and also a poll form fort he foremen who are dealing with Stone Oltu business have been used. Both the information forms and the poll forms have been tabled and the results have been declared by tabling them in percentage. In the end of this research; 1. The operating of Stone Oltu is gradually losing its importance in hand labor craftsmanship and also this profession is gradually disappearing. vii viii 2. Because the foremen who are dealing with business of Stone Oltu can not market their products they can not get enough payment for their efforts and so they are thinking of giving up this job. 3. Although the number of foremen who are dealing with business of Stone Oltu is gradually decreasing little by little they are in difficulty in finding apprentice so as to teach they the details of this job. 4. As the villagers who are manufacturing the Stone Oltu in such hard conditions they can not sell them for a propriate price and the foremen are using the Stones similary Stone Oltu they are about to give up this job. 5. In order develope the business of Stone Oltu In Atatürk University a department called Precious Stone and Metal Business Oltu Professional Institution of Higher Education had been opened, but later the students who graduated from this department could?nt find sufficient emplayment fields that?s why this department of universty couldn?t be in demand any langer. 6. In this research, 41 products have been studied and of all these products rosaries made of gold and silver inlayed have been the things which are in demand most. In the end of this research the suggestions made bye the researcher have been given a place depending upon ( based upon ) matters coming out.
