Özet
Araştırmada, ilköğretim II. sınıf görsel sanatlar dersinde geleneksel öğretim yöntemiyle bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin karşılaştırılması ve değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenin, Gazi Üniversitesi Vakfı Özel İlköğretim Okulunun II. sınıflarından 80 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında öğrenciler için ön ve son test ile araştırmacı tarafından etkileşimli ders yazılım CD'si hazırlanmıştır. Ön ve son test sonuçlarından elde edilen veriler SPSS programında analiz edilmiş ve t-testi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; 1. Bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı deney grubu öğrencilerinin, geleneksel öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı kontrol grubu öğrencilerine kıyasla daha başarılı bir sonuca ulaştıkları görülmüştür. 2. Kontrol ve deney grubu öğrencilerinin son test puanlarının aritmetik ortalamasını karşılaştırdığımızda, deney grubu öğrencilerinin anlamlı bir farkla daha başarılı oldukları görülmüştür. 3. İstatistiksel sonuçların yanında, bilgisayar destekli öğretim sürecinde öğrencilerin derse severek katıldıkları, hevesli oldukları ve eğlenerek öğrendikleri gözlemlenmiştir.

In this research, traditional method and the computer assisted teaching method has been compared and evaluated in the subject of visual arts in 2nd grade level of primary school. The concept of research is comprised of 80 2nd-grade pupils from The Foundation of Gazi University ? private primary school. Within the scope of this research, a pre-test, a post-test and an interactive course on CD were prepared for the pupils by the researcher. Data obtained from the pre-test and post-test results were analyzed by means of the SPSS programme by conducting t-tests. As a result of the research, it has been found that; 1. The pupils within the sample group to which computer assisted teaching method was implemented were more successful compared to those in the traditional educational method group; 2. Experimental group pupils were significantly more successful when the results of the arithmetical averages of the post-test scores of control and test group students were compared; 3. Besides the statistical results, in the process of the computer assisted learning pupils were motivated and enthusiastic in attending the course and learned in an enjoyable way.
