Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2006 Wimbledon tenis turnuvası erkekler yarı final ve final maçlarında atılan servislerin atılışı bölgelerinin tespiti ve bundan yola çıkarak maç içerisinde puan kazanımında etkisi olduğunun belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada denek grubunu, dünya sıralamalarında 1. olan İsviçreli Federer (1.86 m?85 kg ? 25 yaş-Primer: Sağ), 2. Olan İspanyol Nadal (1.85 m ? 85 kg ? 20 yaş ? Primer: Sol), 18. olan Kıbrıs Rum Kesimi vatandaşı Baghdatis, (1.83 m ? 80 kg ? 21 yaş ? Primer: Sağ) ve İsviçreli Bjorkman (1.84 m ? 85 kg ? 34 yaş- Primer: Sağ), oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada 2 yarı final maçı, 1 final maçı değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Tenis kortu servis bölgeleri 6 bölgeye ayrılarak incelenmiştir. DVD (Dijital Video Disk)' lere kaydedilen maçlar daha sonra Slow ? Motion (yavaşlatılmış hareket) ile izlenerek analiz yapılmıştır. Araştırmada kalem-kâğıt metodu (notasyonel analiz) kullanılmıştır.Araştırmada, tenisçilerin kaç servis attıkları, sağ taraftan ve sol taraftan attıkları servislerin sayıları, 1. ve 2. servis adetleri, 1. servisi attıkları bölgeler, 2. servisi attıkları bölgeler, 1. ve 2. servisteki hata yerleri (File/Aut), 1. ve 2. serviste attıkları ace servislerin sayıları, ace servisin atıldığı taraflar (Sağ/Sol), ace servislerin sağ taraf sol taraflara göre düştüğü bölgelerin sayıları, attığı servisten aldığı puan sayıları, attığı servisten aldığı oyunların sayıları, aldığı setlerin sayıları, attığı servisten kaybettiği puanların sayıları analiz edilmiş ve yüzdeleri çıkarılmıştır.Sonuç olarak; tenisçilerin attıkları toplam servislerin % 76,7' sini 1. Serviste, 23,3' ünü de 2. serviste kullanmaktadırlar. 1. servislerin oyuna girme oranları % 69,7, 2. servislerin oyuna girme oranı %96,5; 1. servis hataları % 23,3; 2. servis hatası % 0,82; Ace servisler % 5,17 olarak bulunmuştur. Toplam servislerin %51,7' sini sağdan, %48,3' ünü de soldan atmıştır. Tenisçilerin attıkları servislerin düştüğü bölgelere baktığımızda 2., 3. ve 4. bölgeler yoğunluk kazanmaktadır. Hatalar, 1. servis için %42,1 file, %57,9 aut, 2. servis için % 50 file, % 50 aut olarak bulunmuştur. Tenisçilerin attıkları ace servisler 2. ve 4. bölgelerde yoğunluk kazanmaktadır.Çalışmanın sonunda; servis atmanın sadece puan kazanmaya yetmediği, servisi karşılama başarısı, sporcunun teknik seviyesi, kondisyonu ve oyun içindeki stratejinin çok önemli olduğu saptanmıştır.

The aim of this research is to localize the shooting areas of the services taken at 2006 Wimbledon Tennis Tournament Men?s semi final and final matches and to determine how effective it is during the match and as a result to win the game. During the research, according to world classification, the first runner up Swiss Federer (1.86 m -85 kgs.?25 years old), the second runner up Spanish Nadal (1.85m. ? 85 kgs. ? 20 years old), the 18th runner up Cyprus Baghdatis (1.83m ? 80 kgs. ? 21 years old) and Swiss Bjorkman (1.84 m?85 kgs.-34 years old) have been used as the subject group. In the research, two semi final matches and one final match have been evaluated. The court?s service area has been divided into six parts and studied. The matches have been recorded to DVDs, watched and analyzed in slow motion. During the research, paper and pen method has been used.While doing the research, how many services the players used, the number of services which were shot from both right and left sides, the number of first and second serves, the areas of the first and second serves, lets and faults of the first and second serves, the number of aces, the shooting areas of the aces, the rate of the number of the right sides to the left sides, the scores taken by using serves, the number of the sets taken, lost points have been analyzed and their percentage has been calculated.In conclusion, the players used 76,7 % of the total serves at the first service, and 23,3 % at the second. The percentage of the successful first serve is 69,7% and successful second serve is 96,5%. The percentage of the fault of the first service is 23,3%, whereas the percentage of the fault of the second service is 0,82% and the percentage of the ace serves are 5,17%. 51,7% of the total serves were shot from the right side and 48,3% was shot from left. When we study the areas of the serves, the second, third and the fourth areas are used more than the others. For the first serve, faults were made as 42,1% lets, 57,9% outs and for the second serve they were 50% lets and 50% outs. Players mostly shot their services to the second and fourth areas.At the end of the research, it has been determined that serves are not enough to win the game, but the most important issues are the opponent?s hitting the serve successfully, the player?s technical level, his physical condition and the strategy of the game.
