103ÖZETFetal Dönem Boyunca Diaphragma GelişimiÇalışmamızda fetal dönem boyunca diaphragma gelişimi ve diaphragmanınmorfolojik yapısını değerlendirmek için morfometrik bilgiler elde edilmesi amaçlandı.Çalışma, yaşları 9-40 gebelik haftası yaşı arasında değişen, eksternal patolojisi veanomalisi olmayan, 184 adet fetus (95 erkek, 89 kız) üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Fetuslargestasyonel haftalara, aylara ve trimesterlere göre gruplandırıldı. Fetusların geneleksternal ölçümleri yapıldıktan sonra karın duvarı diseksiyonu diaphragmanın komşuyapılarla olan ilişkisi ve sağ-sol recessus costodiaphragmaticus seviyeleri belirlendi.Diaphragmaya ait parametrik veriler (diaphragma boyutları ve diaphragma üzerindebulunan açıklıkların çapları ve lokalizasyonu) elde edildi. Ayrıca diaphragmanınmikroskobik değerlendirmesi için kas kalınlığı belirlendi.Alınan parametrelerin gestasyonel haftalara, ay ve trimester gruplara göreortalamaları ve standart sapmaları belirlendi. Alınan bütün parametreler ile gestasyonelyaş arasında anlamlı ilişki vardı (p<0,001). Bütün parametrelerde cinsler arasında ve sağve sol ölçümler arasında fark bulunamadı (p>0,05). Elde edilen tüm sonuçlar daha önceyapılan çalışmalarla karşılaştırılarak tartışıldı.Çalışmamızda elde edilen verilerin fetal dönemde diaphragma gelişimi ile ilgilianomali, patoloji ve varyasyonların belirlenmesinde obstetri, perinatoloji, adli tıp vefetopatoloji gibi bilim dallarındaki çalışmalara, teşhis ve tedavilere katkıda bulunacağınıdüşünmekteyiz.

104SUMMARYDevelopment of Fetal Diaphragm During the Fetal PeriodThe aim of this study was to determine the development and the size and to obtainmorphometric data in the human fetuses during the fetal period.One hundred and eighty-four diaphragms obtained from human fetuses (agedbetween 9-40 weeks of gestation) with no external pathology and anomaly was used inthis study. At first, general external measurements were obtained and after that the wallof the abdomen dissection was made. The level of the right and left costodiaphragmaticrecess were observed in order to evaluate the relationship between neighbors? structures.The localization of the diaphragm with respect to abdominal cavity was determined. Thedimensions (height, width, depth) of the diaphragm were measured. The size andlocalization of apertures through the diaphragm was determined. In addition, thethicknesses of muscles determined for microscopic evaluation.Means and standard deviations of the all parameters with respect to gestationalweeks, months and trimesters were calculated. No significant differences were observedbetween sexes right and left sides measurements for any of the parameters (p>0.05). Allparameters were increasing with age during fetal period. There was significantcorrelation between gestational age and all parameters (p<0.001).New data are derived for human fetuses to evaluate diaphragm development. Webelieve our findings about the fetal diaphragm will be useful in obstetrics, perinatology,forensic medicine and fetal pathology departments.
