Özet
Dünya artık çok farklı bir konumdadır. Her alanda teknolojinin bitmek bilmezhünerleri kullanılmakta, bu durum hayatımızın her zerresine yavaş da olsa dahilolmaktadır. Böyle bir dünyada genel olarak basının özelde ise gazetecilik ve gazetelerinetkilenmemesi düşünülemez. Teknolojinin matba, dizgi, yazma, haber ulaştırma, taşıma,görüntüleme, kaydetme, arşivleme şeklinde hizmet ettiği ve değiştirdiği gazetecilik,şimdi de internet teknolojisinin suyuna kapılmış gitmektedir. Internet, gazete kavramınınasıl etkileyecek buna gazetenin kendisi değil, internet teknolojisi ve zaman kararverecektir. Gazetelerin satışa sunduğu nüshalarını bile internet ortamındaki sayfalarınakoymak zorunda oldukları bir dönemde gerçekleşen bu mecburiyete karşı direnemeyenveya direnmeyen kurumlar da, bilim adamları da, gözlemciler de gidişatı meraketmektedirler. Gazetelerin bakış açılarının, politikalarının, çalışma düzenlerinin,yapılanmalarının şimdiden internet gazeteciliği tarafından oldukça etkilendiğinisöylemek yanlış olmayacaktır. Bu çalışmada sözü edilen gelişmenin-değişmeningazetenin can damarlarından olan tirajı (satış rakamları) nasıl etkilediğideğerlendirilmektedir. Araştırma, karşılıklı ve çeşitli olan avantajların internetgazeteciliği kavşağında gazetelerin durumunu sergilemeye çalışacaktır.

The world is in a quite different position today. Technology's everlastingskills are used in every area. Maybe this becomes slowly, but this situation takes part ineach point of our life. In such atmosphere it is not possible to think that the pres ingeneral and rather particularly journalism and the newspapers are not effected.Journalism which has been modified by technology and that technology has served asprinting, typesetting, writting, transmitting news, transportation, producing as animmage, saving and archieving is now being carried away by the flowing river of thetechnology of internet. Internet technology and time are to decide how the internet willeffect the concept of newspaper, not the paper itself. The scientists, observers,institutions and organisations which do not or can not resists this compulsion thatmaterializes in such era that newspapers are obliged to put onto the pages of internet theissues that are put up for sale, are curious about the goings-on. It will not be wrong tosay that points of view, policies, studying orders and constractions of the newspapers areinfluenced fairly by the internet journalism. Through this study, it is evaluated how thisrelevant modification and progresseffects circulation which is the crucial point of thenewspaper. This research tries to present the state of newspapers at the mutual andvarious adventages' intersection of internet journalism.
