Özet

Bu çalışmada ilköğretim Fen Bilgisi dersinde, öğrencilerin öğrenme stillerine dayalıöğretim etkinliklerinin onların erişi ve tutumlarına etkisi incelenmiştir.Araştırmadakontrol gruplu deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırma ilköğretim 4. sınıfa gidenöğrenciler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, deney grubunda üç öğrenme stiline dayalıetkinlikler, kontrol grubunda ise geleneksel öğretim uygulanmıştır. Araştırmadaverilerin toplanmasında başarı düzeylerini belirlemede araştırmacı tarafındanhazırlanmış 20 sorudan oluşan Fen Bilgisi Başarı Testi ve Fen Bilgisi dersine yöneliktutum ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler üzerinde bağımsız t-testi ile analizleryapılmıştır. Denel uygulamalar sonunda; öğrenme stillerine dayalı öğretiminuygulandığı gruptaki öğrencilerin erişi ve tutumları ile geleneksel öğretimin yapıldığıgruptaki öğrencilerin erişi ve tutumları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlıfarklılıklar bulunmuştur. Elde edilen sonuçlara dayalı olarak ilköğretimde fen bilgisiöğrenimi ve öğretimine yönelik öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

In this study, the effect of teaching activities based on learning styles of students on their attitudesand achievements in primary school's science lectures has been examined. In the research, the controlgroupped experimental method has been used. The research has been made with the students who are inthe fourth year in primary school. The activities that are based on the three learning styles have beenapplied to the experimental group, while the traditional instruction has been applied to the control groupof the research. In the research, to get data, the Science Success Test with 20 questions that is prepared bythe researcher to define the success ranks and Science Lecture oriented attitude criterion have been used.The collected data have been analyzed through application of the independent t-test. As a result ofexperimental applications, meaningful differences in favor of experimental group have been foundbetween the attitudes and achievements of students in the group of instruction based on learning styleswith the attitudes and achievements of the students in the group of traditional instruction. Depend on thegathered results, some suggestions have been devoloped for the science learning and teaching in primaryschool.
