Özet
Bu çal mada , lisans seviyesinde Genel Matematik dersindeki teoremlerin ispatlar nanlamay kolayla t racak kavrama testleri haz rlanm , bunlar ö rencilere uygulanm vekavrama testleriyle ilgili ö renci görü leri de erlendirilmi tir.Bu amaçla 2001-2002 y l ndaGazi Üniversitesi Gazi E itim Fakültesi Matematik E itimi Bölümü 1.s n f ö rencilerineGenel Matematik dersinde kavrama testleri uygulanm daha sonra bu ö rencilere kavramatestleriyle ilgili dü üncelerini soran bir test verilmi tir. Ayr ca 6 ö renci ile de görü meyap lm t r.Bu çal mada Conradie `nin ? Comprehension tests in mathematics ? adl makalesitemel al nm t r. Aç k uçlu sorularda ö rencilerin vermi oldu u cevaplarphenomenographical yöntemle kategorilere ayr larak tablolar olu turulmu tur. Görü mes ras nda farkl zamanlarda üç ö rencinin verdikleri cevaplar kasetlere kaydedilmi ve bukay tlar yaz l görü me metinlerine dönü türülmü tür. Ara t rma sonucunda ö rencilerin ispatve kavrama testleri hakk ndaki görü leri incelenip de erlendirmi ve bu konularda çal mayapmak isteyen ara t rmac lara ve e itimcilere yönelik önerilerde bulunulmu tur.

In this study comprehension tests, which simplifies the understanding of the proofs oftheorems in undergraduate level Calculus Courses were prepared. These tests are applied tothe students and the view of students about the comprehension tests were evaluated. For thispurpose, the comprehension tests were applied to the freshman students of Gazi University,Faculty of Education, Department of Mathematics Education in Calculus courses in 2001-2002 academic year. Then another test, which asks for their views about the comprehensiontest was given. Moreover, interviews were made with 6 students.This study is based on Conradie's article titled“ Comprehension Tests inMathematics”. The answers of the students to open-end questions were classified by means ofphenomenographical approach and tabulated. During the interview, the vocal answers givenby three students at different times were recorded and then these were converted to writtenformat. At the end of the survey, their views about the proof and comprehension tests wereevaluated and some suggestions were given to the researchers and educators who intend tostudy on these subjects.
