Thesis, 2005.Page Number : 148ABSTRACTThis study was conducted to see the effects of the school-teacher-familycooperation, at the first level of primary school, on class administration.The research is a descriptive model. ?The Questionnaire on School-Teacher-Family Cooperation in Primary School? was used for data compilation. A Likert typequestionnaire containing three choices was prepared. The data of the research was compiledfrom the answers given by 200 administrators and teachers, 396 parents of students residingat Karadeniz Eregli of the province of Zonguldak during the second term of the 2004-2005academic year. The statistical analysis of the data was made by using the SPSS 10.0 packageprogram through ?t-Test? and ?unilateral variance analysis?, and the basic results obtainedfrom the views of the administrators, teachers and parents are given below:1. There were no significant differences in respect to the communications of theparents with the school, their concern over their children, their views on giving guidance totheir children, according to the genders of the parents, their levels of education, their ages,levels of income, number of children they had, their professions and the profession of theirspouses.2. There were no significant differences in the views of the administrators and theteachers according to their genders, ages, seniorities, levels of education, tenure of duty, thelatest education institutes they graduated from, in respect to participation, education-trainingactivities, on the job training, physical teaching aids, their approach to the parents.KeywordsClassroom Management, School- Teacher-Family Cooperation.
