Özet
Bu çalışma, günümüzde Hafızlık eğitiminin içinde bulunduğu durumu incelemek ve problemlerini tespit edip çözüm önerileri ortay koymak amacı ile yapılan bir alan araştırmasıdır. Araştırmada örneklem olarak İstanbul seçilmiş ve buradaki 8 Kur'an Kursundan rastgele seçilmiş 416 öğrenci ve 71 öğretici üzerinde anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın konusu, amacı, önemi ve yönteminin anlatıldığı giriş bölümünden sonra birinci bölümde; Hafızlığın tarihi süreci, ikinci bölümde; uygulanan anketten elde edilen bulgular ve yorumları, üçüncü bölümde ise bulgulardan ortaya çıkan sonuçlar ve çözüm önerileri yer almaktadır. Araştırmada önce hafızlığın ortaya çıkışı ve bu güne kadar geçirdiği safhalar teorik bir çalışma ile ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra seçilen örnekleme uygulanan veri toplama aracı ile öğrencilerin; kişisel bilgilerine, hafızlıkla ilgili yaşantı ve düşüncelerine, öğreticilerin; kişisel ve mesleki durumları ile hafızlıkla ilgili uygulama ve düşüncelerine ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bulgularla hafızlığın bu günkü durumu incelenmiş ve Hafızlık eğitiminin, Kur'an Kurslarının, öğretici ve öğrencilerin sorunları araştırılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde ettiğimiz sonuçlara göre Hafızlık eğitiminin; statü, program, gelecek kaygısı, donanım gibi sorunları, Kur'an Kurslarının; fiziki yapı, maddi sıkıntı gibi sorunları, öğreticilerin; statü, çalışma şartları, yeterlilik gibi sorunları ve öğrencilerin; yaş, yaklaşım ve iş gibi çözüm bekleyen ciddi sorunları vardır. Bu konuda daha pek çok araştırma yapılmalı ve bu sorunların çözümü için öneriler getirilmelidir.

This study is a field of research that is aimed at examining the situation which today?s education of being a Hafiz (one who has learned the whole Koran by heart) is in, at determining their problems and bringing up suggested solutions. In this research, Istanbul was selected as the representative sample and a survey was carried out on 416 students and 71 teachers who were the subjects selected randomly from 8 Koran Courses in the province of Istanbul. The research study consists of three sections. In the introduction; the topic, objectives, rationale and the method of the research study are explained; in the first section, the historical process of being a Hafiz; in the second section, the findings and the interpretations of the survey that is carried out; and in the third section, the results derived from the findings and the suggested solutions are included. In the research study, firstly the origins of being a Hafiz and the procedure it has gone through up until today were worked on with a theoretical study. Then, with the instrument that was conducted on the representative sample to collect data, it was attempted to reach students? personal information, their experiences and thoughts in relation to being a Hafiz as well as the teachers? personal and professional status, their practice and thoughts about being a Hafiz. Using these findings, the present status of being a Hafiz was examined and the problems of the education of being a Hafiz, Koran Courses, students and teachers were investigated. According to the results obtained from the research study, there are problems in the education of being a Hafiz in terms of status, program and future anxiety; problems of Koran Courses such as physical structure and financial problems; the serious problems of teachers such as status, working hours, proficiency; and of students such as age, approach and occupation, which need to be solved. Many more research studies should be carried out in this area and some suggestions should be brought up for the solution of these problems.
