Özet
Levinas, felsefe tarihinin içine düştüğü Aynı'nın mantığını eleştirmesi vefarklı olanı felsefenin gündemine taşımasıyla önemi tartışılmaz bir düşürdür.Kurduğu etik anlayış, temel olarak Öteki'ye karşı sonsuz bir sorumluluktanyola çıkar. Öteki, bilinemez ve erişilemezdir.Ancak onun Öteki'yle karşılaşmayla ortaya çıkan özne ve mutlak birfarklılık olarak tanımlanan Öteki kavramları sorunlar içerir. Bu sorunlarınbaşında, her iki kavramın Levinas felsefesinin merkezinde yer alan bir Tanrıdüşüncesinden bağımsız ele alınamaması gelir. Levinas, bu açıdan felsefesiniseküler yorumlara kapatır. Bunun yanı sıra, Tanrı merkezli bir felsefe kurarak,kendisi de çok eleştirdiği Aynı'nın mantığının içine düşer.

Levinas, by criticizing the logic of the Same and bringing front the Other inthe philosophical discussions, is indubitably a very important thinker. Theethical way of thinking founded by him, starts with an infinite responsibility tothe Other. The Other is an enigma and transcendent. The I cannot escape fromhis/her responsibility to the Other.Levinas? two concepts, the subject which appears after the encounter withthe Other and the Other which is defined as an absolute otherness consists ofproblems. First one of these problems is the impossibility to consider these twoconcepts without referring to God. Thus Levinas closes his philosophy to anysecular interpretations. On the other hand, by founding a God-centeredphilosophy, he also falls into the logic of the Same.
