Özet
KISA ÖZET Bu çalışma, Türkiye'deki sigorta sektörünün bir analizi niteliğindedir. Çalışmanın ana hede-fi, bu sektörün yapısını ve işleyişini incelemek, diğer ülkeler" ile karşılaştırmasını yapıp, bu sonuçları değerlendirmektir. Sonuçlar göstermektedir ki, Türk sigorta sektörü her ne kadar batılı ülkelerin gerisinde görünüyorsa da, sektör gelecekte etkili, istikrarlı, bir mali kurum olma yolunda, hızlı bir devrim içine girmiştir.

IV ABSTRACT The present study is an analysis of the insurance sector in Turkey. The primary goal of this study mas to examine the structure, and operation of the insurance sector, to compare it with the insurance sectors of different countries, and to evaluate the outcome of this comparison. The results of this study showed that, although Turkish insurance sector is falling behind thB Western countries, therB is a revolutionary movement in the sector towards bBing a stable, influential financial institution.
