Özet
Bu çalışmada amaç; Sakarya ili Adapazarı ilçesi Yenigün bölgesinden arazide 1 adetsondajla alınan numuneler üzerinde laboratuvarda pipet ve hidrometre deneyleriyapılarak aralarındaki korelasyonun bulunmasıdır.Bu amaçla, sondajla gelen numunelerden 47 adedi seçilerek pipet ve hidrometredeneyleri yapılmıştır. Ayrıca, numunelerin renk, sınıf ve % kil miktarının, bulunacakkorelasyona etkisi araştırılmıştır..Yapılan korelasyonlardan, pipet ile hidrometre deneyleri arasında r = 0,99 gibi 1' eyakın yüksek korelasyon katsayısı bulunmuştur. Buna göre; hidrometre deneyinden,Pipet = 1,012 (Hidrometre)-2,8387 bağıntısının kullanılmasıyla pipet yöntemineHidrometre = 0,988 (Pipet) + 2,805 bağıntısının kullanılmasıyla da hidrometredeneyine geçiş yapılabilmektedir.

The aim of this study; is to find correlations between the results of the pipette andhydrometer test that conducted on the samples taken from the boreholes in theSakarya Province.For this reason, 47 samples obtained from the boreholes were selected and theexperimental studies were performed on these samples. Besides, the effect of colourof the samples, their class and percentage of clay content on the correlations wereinvestigated.According to the results obtained from the simple regression analysis, highcorrelation coefficients, nearly r = 0.99, were found. Therefore, by using the,Pipet = 1,012 (Hidrometre)-2,8387 and Hidrometre = 0,988 (Pipet) + 2,805equations, both two test results it can be calculated.
