Özet
Bu arastırmanın amacı, ilkögretim ögrencilerine yönelik Matematik dersinin oran orantı konusuyla ilgili egitsel bilgisayar oyunları gelistirerek, bu oyunların ögrencilerin Matematik dersi ve bilgisayar oyunları ile egitsel bilgisayar oyunları hakkındaki tutum ve düsüncelerine etkisini incelemektir. Bu amaçla oran-orantı konusu ile ilgili“Orantılı Tetris”ve“Orantılı Palyaço”isminde iki adet oyun gelistirilmistir. Ögrencilerin Matematik dersi ve bilgisayar oyunları ile egitsel bilgisayar oyunları hakkındaki tutum ve düsüncelerini belirlemek için likert tipi bir anket kullanılmıstır. Gelistirilen oyunlar ve anket Balıkesir ilindeki iki lkögretim Okulunda toplam 176 ögrenciye uygulanmıstır. Ögrencilerin demografik bilgileri ve bilgisayar oyunları ile egitsel bilgisayar oyunları hakkındaki düsünceleri arasında anlamlı bir iliski olup olmadıgı, bagımsız t testi, Mann Whitney U testi, One Way Anova testi ve Kruskal Wallis H testleri ile test edilmistir. Gelistirilen oyunların, Matematik dersi ve bilgisayar oyunları ile egitsel bilgisayar oyunlarıyla ilgili tutum ve düsüncelerinde anlamlı bir degisiklige sebep olup olmadıgı Paired Samples t testi ile test edilmistir. Matematik dersi ve bilgisayar oyunları ile egitsel bilgisayar oyunlarına yönelik tutum ve düsünceleri arasında anlamlı bir iliskinin olup olmadıgı Pearson Korelasyon testi ile kontrol edilmistir. Oyun türleri ile Matematik dersi ve bilgisayar oyunları ile egitsel bilgisayar oyunları hakkındaki tutum ve düsünceleri arasında ve anlamlı bir iliskinin olup olmadıgı One Way Anova testi ve Kruskal Wallis H testi ile kontrol edilmistir. Uygulamalar sırasında ögrenciler, arastırmacı tarafından katılımcı olarak gözlenmistir. Yapılan istatistiksel testlerin sonucunda ögrencilerin Matematik dersi ve bilgisayar oyunları ile egitsel bilgisayar oyunları hakkındaki tutum ve düsünceleri pozitif çıkmıstır. Ancak gelistirilen Orantılı Tetris ve Orantılı Palyaço oyunlarını oynayan ögrencilerin tutum ve düsüncelerinde anlamlı bir degisim olmadıgı görülmüstür.

The purpose of the search is to analyze the differences of attitudes of students, who played the educational computer games which was developed for this research, to Mathematics course, computer games and educational computer games. For this reason, researcher developed two educational computer games, Rational Tetris and Rational Clown, which are about ratio and proportion topic in mathematics education. And researcher used a likert scale survey about Mathematics course, computer games and educational computer games. Educational computer games and the survey were applied to 176 students in two primary schools in Balikesir, Turkey. Whether there is a meaningful relationship between students? demographic data and students thoughts about computer games and educational computer games was tested with independent t test, Mann Whitney U, One Way Anova and Kruskal Wallis H tests. Whether educational computer games affected the student thoughts about Mathematics, computer games and educational computer games was tested with Paired Samples t test. Whether there is a meaningful relationship between students? thoughts about Mathematics and students? thoughts about computer games and educational computer games was tested with Pearson Correlation test. Whether there is a meaningful relationship between game types and students thoughts about Mathematics, computer games and educational computer games was tested with One Way Anova and Kruskal Wallis H test. Researcher observed the students as a participant while the research was being applied to them. According to results from statistical tests, students? thoughts to Mathematics course, computer games and educational computer games became positive. But there wasn?t any change in thoughts of students who played Rational Tetris and Rational Clown.
