Özet
İnsan psikolojisi hayatın her alanında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Temel amacı insanın estetik ve işlevsel ihtiyaçlarına çözüm bulmaya çalışan bir planlama ve tasarım disiplini olan Peyzaj Mimarlığı ile insan psikolojisi arasında yakın bir ilişki vardır. Bu tezin ilk amacı, peyzaj tasarımlarında kullanıcı beğeni ve tercihlerini yaşa bağlı olarak belirleyebilmektir. Bu amaçla Ankara Kenti Çankaya ilçe'sinde ikâmet eden kullanıcılara yönelik bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anket sonucunda tüm yaş gruplarının hem ortak hem de birbirinden farklı beğeni ve tercihlerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Tezin ikinci amacı ise peyzaj mimarlarının psikolojilerin tasarımlarına olan etkisini belirlemektir. Ankara Kenti Çankaya İlçesi'nde çalışan peyzaj mimarlarına yönelik bir anket çalışması ile peyzaj mimarlarının psikolojilerinin tasarımlarım kısmen de olsa etkileyebildiği ayrıca peyzaj mimarlarının tercih ettikleri kent mobilya ve döşeme malzemelerinin peyzaj kullanıcılarının tercih ve beğenileriyle aynı olduğu belirlenmiştir. 2005, 53 sayfa

Human Psychology has an important place in every aspect of life. There is a close relationship between human psychology and landscape architecture, which is a planning and design discipline, of which basic purpose is to find out a solution for the aesthetical and functional needs of human. The first objective of this thesis is to be able to determine the appreciation and preferences of users in landscape designs depending on their age. By this objective, a questionnaire study is applied to the users living in Çankaya district of the city of Ankara. As the result of the questionnaire, it is determined that all the age groups have both common and distinct appreciation and preferences. The second objective of this thesis is to determine the effects of the psychology of the landscape architects into their designs. By the questionnaire applied to the lanscape architects living in Çankaya district of the city of Ankara, it is identified that the psychology of landscape architects can affect their designs even partially; besides, the city furniture and pavements which are preferred by the landscape architects are the same as the preferences and appreciations of the landscape users. 2005, 53 pages
