ÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi Farklı Yapıdaki Kaliks[8]arenlerin Sentezi ve Amino Asitlerin Ayrılmasında Kullanılması Ömer GÜNGÖR Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Kimya Anabilim Dalı Danışman : Yrd. Doç. Dr. Aydan YILMAZ Jüri : Prof. Dr. Mustafa YILMAZ Prof. Dr. Mehmet SEZGİN Yrd. Doç. Dr. Ahmet KOÇAK Bu çalışma, bazı p-ter-bütilkaliks[8]aren ve p-ter-bütilkaliks[4]aren türevlerinin sentezini ve bazı faz transfer özelliklerinin incelenmesini içermektedir. Sentezlenen bileşiklerin yapılan spekstroskopik tekniklerle (FTIR, 'H NMR) ile aydınlatılmıştır. Sentez çalışmaların da, literatürde belirtilen metoda göre p-ter- bütilkaliks[8]aren sentezlenmiştir. Daha sonra bu bileşiğin oktanitro (2), tetranitro (3), oktaester (4) türevleri sentezlenmiştir. 4 bileşiğinin (oktaester) ester grupları hidroliz edilerek okta asit (5) sentezlenmiştir. Daha sonra literatüre göre p-ter- bütilkaliks[4]aren (6) sentezlendi ve bu bileşiğin dinitril (7), diester (8), diasit (9),II dinitro (10) ve dealkilasyon ile 11 bileşiği (kaliks[4]aren) sentezlenmiştir. 11 bileşiği dinitril(12) ve diester(13) türevlerini sentezlenmiştir. Bütün bu bileşikler bazı azo boyaları (Direct Violet 51, Reactive Black 5, Titan Yellow, Trapaeolin, Methyl Oranj) ve amino asit esterlerin (L-phenylalanine methylester hydrochloride, D-phenylalanine methylester hydrochloride, L-alanine methylester hydrochloride, D-alanine methylester hydrochloride, L-triptofan, D- triptofan) sıvı sıvı ekstraksiyon çalışmalımda kullanılmıştır.

Thesis The Synthesis of Various Substituted Calix[8]arenes and As a Carrier Agent of Speration of Amino Acids Omer GUNGOR Selçuk University Faculty of Science and Arts Department of Chemistry Supervisor : Yrd. Dr. Ahmet KOÇAK This study contains the synthesizing of some p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene and p- tert-butylcalix[8]arene derivatives and the examination of their phase-transfer properties. The structures of these compounds were characterized by using some spectroscopic methods (FTIR, İH NMR). To achieve this goal, as a starting material, p-tert-butylcalix[8]arene was synthesized according to literature procedure. Then it was converted to its octanitro (2), tetranitro (3) and octaester (4) derivatives. The ester groups of compound 4 was hydrolyzed and obtained its acid derivative (5). Furthermore, after p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene (6) was synthesized as a starting material according to literature procedure, it was converted to its dinitrile (7), diester (8),IV diasit (9), dinitro (10) and dealkylated (11) derivatives. Also compound 11 (calix[4]arene) was converted to dinitril (12) and diester (13) derivatives. All these compounds were used in liquid-liquid extraction studies of some azo dyes( Direct Violet 51, Reactive Black 5, Titan Yellow, Trapaeolin, Methyl Oranj) and amino acid methylesters ( L-phenylalanine methylester hydrochloride, D- phenylalanine methylester hydrochloride, L-alanine methylester hydrochloride, D- alanine methylester hydrochloride, L-triptofan, D-triptofan)
