AMATÖR ÇALGI EĞİTİMİ'NİN 14-17 YAŞ GRUBUNDAKİ ERGENLERİN BENLİK TASARIMLARINA ETKİLERİ Gülseven Kanizi ÖZET Bu çalışma, KKTC'de Amatör Çalgı Eğİtimi'nin yaygm olduğu gerçeği doğrultusunda, lise hazırlık, 1., 2. ve 3. sınıf öğrencilerinin AÇE alanlarla almayanların benlik tasarım düzeylerine etkisini cinsiyet, sosyo-ekonomik düzey, anne-babanın tutum, meslek ve eğitim değişkenleriyle saptamayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, KKTC'deki liselerde eğitim gören Amatör Çalgı Eğitimi alan 102, almayan 107, toplam 209 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada örnekleme seçilen öğrencilerin belirlenen değişkenlere ilişkin bilgilerini toplamak amacıyla kişisel bilgi formu hazırlanıp kullanılmış, öğrencilerin benlik tasannu düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla ise Benlik Tasarımı Envanteri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Amatör Çalgı Eğitimi alan ergenlerin almayanlara oranla benlik tasarım düzeylerinin daha yüksek çıktığı, yani Amatör Çalgı Eğitimi'nin ergenlerin kimlik-kişilik gelişimleri, toplum içindeki varoluşlarım olumlu yönde etkilediği ortaya çıkmıştır(p<0,05).

11 THE AFFECTS OF PRIVATE MUSIC EDUCATION TO SELF-CONCEPT SCHEME OF ADOLESCENTS' AGED BETWEEN 14-17 Gülseven Kanizi SUMMARY In this study, the effects of private music education on teenagers' self-concept at grades of first, second and third in high schools of TRNC have been observed. These groups have been chosen because of their ages. Five factors; Gender, Socio economic level, Family type, Mother's and Father's education level and their jobs taken which were thought to affect the level of self-concept scheme. The aim of this study was to find that if there is any significant relationship between these factors and the level of self-concept scheme. Totally 209 high school students were sampled for this research; 102 of which were private music students and other 107 students not getting private music education, were attending TRNC High Schools.“Individual Information Forms”were prepared and used to gather the data regarding to determined variations of the students chosen for this research and then to find out the levels of the self- concept of the students“Self-concept Inventory Forms”were applied by the researcher personally. As a result; when two groups of students getting or not getting“Private Music Lesson”were compared, it was found out that getting“Private Music Lesson”had the self-concept scores improved significantly, (p<0,05).
