When we classify these 43 fountains and 19 reservoirs which are our research subject, according to their locations, most of the fountains in Tokat ara adjacent a monument, 6 of them were added to a monument afterwards and 4 of them were built independently, in the same way, 7 of the fountains in Niksar were constructed within a monument, 4 of them were added to a monument afterwards and 1 of them was constructed independently. 7 of the reservoirs in Tokat are in a civilian building or in a courtyard of a house, 5 of them are in mosques and 6 of them are seen inside hammams. 1 of the reservoir in Niksar is in a hammam too. When we put the fountains and reservoirs in Tokat in an order of construction date, we see that 3 of them were built in Seljuks period, 23 of them were built in Ottoman period and 4 of them were built at 20th. Century. In the same way 7 of the fountains in Niksar were built in Ottoman period and 6 of them were built lately. 1 5 of the reservoirs in Tokat were built in Ottoman period and 3 of them were built lately. One of the reservoirs in Niksar was built in Ottoman period. As for as the material, kesme taş was used mostly. It was used 29 of the fountains in Tokat and it was used 12 of the fountains in Niksar. When we look at the reservoirs; it was used 17 of them in Tokat and Niksar^ one reservoir. When we consider the embellishes among the commonly used embellishes in the fountains in Tokat, it has seen that 9 of them is vegetal, 4 of them is designed with figures, 3 of them is geometric, 4 of them is object344 and 2 of them is fruit design. In Niksar fountains 4 of them is geometric, 6 of them is vegetal, 2 of them is fruit design, 4 of them is object and 2 of them is applied with figure design. At Tokat fountains 8 of them is geometric, 7 of them is vegetal, 2 of them is object, 1 of them is designed with a figure. Niksar reservoir has no any embellish. As for as the inscriptions; most of the fountains in Tokat have no inscription. There are 24 fountains which have no inscription. 4 of them have inscription and 2 of them have only date. 4 of the fountains in Niksar have no inscription but 6 of them have one and 3 of them have only date. Again most of the reservoirs in Tokat have no inscription. 14 of them don't have an inscription, 2 of them have one and 2 of them only a date. The reservoir which is in Niksar has no inscription or a date. Although, majority of these monuments stil exist, they are against the danger of destruction due to the lack of protection. in comparison with the Istanbul samples; they aren't such succesful and excellent models, but they have importance in Turkish art due to the fact that they document different periods.
