In this study, we examined the“İnsan”Magazine which was one of most important magazines in 1938. We limited our study for first twenty five series of magazine considering the extensiveness of the subject. At the intreduct part of our study, information about political, socis cultural and literary development of era, which İnsan magazine ws published, has been given. At the first chapter literateur environment of th 1940's and the other magazines of era has been evaluated in gener structures. At the first part of our study a reason of existence and it's aim explained; about an author staff of magazine, supporters of magazine, e ideal of reader and politics of publishing has been explained. At the second part of our study evaluation of an articles in th magazine, poems and strories which is an litterateury writing has bee examined. According to their themes, these are examined on their commc evaluating. Types of novel and story in this magazine which is not examine has been tried to evaluate. Intellectual writing in this magazine, writing of i individual writing for a people, stories, trials, criticinsms, writings of rep translations and other writings has been evaluated. After that, anindex writing in this magazine has been prepared for an author's surname awdatyf of this writing.At the conclusion there has been an evaluation in general structure İnsan Magazine at Turkish literature and culture. At our study "Literary Environment Occuring Around İnsan Magazim our basic point is the magazine itself. While examining İnsan, when it needed memorials, biographies, history of literatures and sources whic illumunates the social-political surroundings of era have been applied. Since periodics were published, they have had a great role on our ide and art world progress. We think that; after such idea and art works, studied on newspapers and magazines like İnsan Magazines will take responsibility for writing a complete Turkish Literature and history of idea.
