Özet
ÖZET Ana cephe önüne ikinci katman yerleşimi ile yapının iç ve dış çevresi arasında denetimli bir ara bölge oluşturan çift katmanlı giydirme cepheler, giydirme cephelerin çevre denetiminde zayıf olması sorununa bir çözüm önerisi olarak sunulmuştur. Bu sistemler, kullanıcı konforunu düşürmeden, yapıyı ısı kayıp ve kazançlardan koruyarak enerji tüketimini azaltabilen giydirme cephe sistemleridir. Çalışmada amaç, çift katmanlı giydirme cephelerin genel ilkelerini vererek, yapımda karar vericilere bu sistemleri tanıtmak, tasarım aşamasında farklı cephe türleri arasında doğru seçimi yapabilmeleri için yol göstermektir. Tezde öncelikle çift katmanlı giydirme cephe sistemi tanımlanarak, tek katmanlı sistemlere göre olumlu ve olumsuz özellikleri belirtilmiştir. Bu sistemler, havalandırma biçimlerine ve cephe biçimlenişlerine göre sınıflandırılmış ve her bir cephe türü genel ilkeleriyle tanımlanarak, özellikleri açıklanmıştır. Yapıların gereksinmelerini karşılayabilecek niteliklere sahip doğru sistem seçiminin yapılabilmesini sağlamak amacıyla, belirlenen cephe türleri birbirleriyle karşılaştırılarak nitelikleri gösterme oranlarına göre değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonunda sistemlerin özellikleri bir arada verilmiştir ve gereksinmeler doğrultusunda doğru seçim yapılabilmesi sağlanmıştır. Çift katmanlı giydirme cepheler, farklı cephe türleri ile yapıya öncelikle ses yalıtımı ve enerji tüketimi açısından olumlu özellikler katmaktadır.

ABSTRACT The double-skin curtain wall systems which constitutes a controlled air cavity between the interior and outer parts of the building by situated a second skin in front of the external wall, has been presented as a suggestion of solution for the problem of curtain walls being weak in environment control. This systems are the curtain wall systems which reduce the energy consumption by protecting the building from heat loss and gains. The aim of this study is to give the general principles of double-skin curtain walls and to introduce these systems to the decision makers and to help them in making the correct selection between the different facade types in conception stage. In this thesis, first of all, the double-skin curtain wall system has been defined and its positive and negative features have been clarified when compared with the single-skin facade. These systems have been classified according to their ventilation styles and cavity proportioning and every facade type has been defined with its general principles and their features have been clarified. With the purpose to provide the correct system selection which meets the need and requirements of the building, the determined facade types have been compared with eachother and they have been evaluated according to their feature showing rates. The end of this study, features of systems have been presented together and this presentation has been provided the correct selection according to the requirements. Every facade type of the double-skin curtain wall system has been added positive features, which is first, sound insulation and energy consumption to the building.
