ÖZET Domates Tohumlarında Uygulanabilecek Tohum Gücü Testlerinden Kontrollü Bozulma Test Koşullarının Belirlenmesi YENİCİ, Bircan Seda Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Benian ESER Eylül 2004, 63 sayfa Bu çalışmada, domates tohumlarının tohum gücünü belirlemede kullanılacak kontrollü bozulma test koşullarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla 2 farklı deneme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneme 1'de, tohumluk partileri %20, 22, 24 nem değerlerine ayarlanarak 45°C'de 24 saat süreyle bozulmaya ve daha sonra standart çimlendirme testlerine alınmışlardır. Deneme 2'de, tohumların nem içerikleri Deneme 1'de saptanan nem değerine yükseltilmiştir. 41 °C / 24 - 48 - 72 saat; 43°C / 24 - 48 - 72 saat ve 45°C / 24 - 48 - 72 saat kombinasyonlarında yaşlandırmaya tabi tutulduktan sonra bu tohumlara standart çimlendirme testleri uygulanmıştır. Denemeler sonucu elde edilen veriler ile, aynı tohumların tarla çıkışları arasındaki korelasyonlar ve regresyonlar hesaplanarak, en etkin nem seviyesi - sıcaklık - süre parametreleri %20 nem / 45°C / 24 saat olarak belirlenmiştir.

VII ABSTRACT Assessment of The Controlled Deterioration Test Conditions of Seed Vigour Tests to be Practised for Tomato Seeds YENİCİ, Bircan Seda MSc in Agriculture Eng. Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Benian ESER September 2004, 63 pages In this study, assessment of the controlled deterioration test conditions to be used in determination the seed vigour of tomato seeds was aimed. With this object 2 different experiments were made. In experiment 1, seed lots were deteriorated in 45°C with 24 hours period by regulating them to %20, 22, 24 moisture values and then taken to standard germination tests. In experiment 2, moisture contents of seeds were raised to the moisture value which was found in experiment 1. After having been aged at 41 °C / 24 - 48 - 72 hours; 43°C / 24 - 48 - 72 hours and 45°C / 24 - 48 - 72 hours combinations, standard germination tests were applied to these seeds. By counting correlations and regrations between data which were acquired at the result of experiments and field emergencies of the same seeds, the most effective moisture level - temperature - time parameters were determined as %20 moisture / 45°C / 24 hours.
