114 SUMMARY In this research the relations between locus of control and aggressive behaviors have been studied. What kind of a role dees the indiudual's being internal control believed, external control believed, his sex and socion econamical candition have in the formation of aggressive behaviors? In this study, the factors which affect the tendency of aggression of the subjects have been handled from social learning point on a cancept^l and experimental level. The study was carried aut on 196 fourth year students in variaug departments of K.K. Faculty of Education in 1988-İ989 academic year. From the point of lacus of control, the individval's being internal control believed means that he accepts the results of his behaviors within himself; and, in case his being the results of his behaviors to be in the forces (desting, chance) outside himself. In the research, Rotter's scale for locus of control was applied for grouping the subjects as internal or external control believed in accordance with lacus of control. Buss-Durkee aggression scale was used in determining the aggressive tendencies of the subjects. A questionie arre from was given by the researcher to measure the variables related with socio^economical conditions. Hypotheses were established in order to directh our study, investigation and analyses and to help usto commend the results. Hypotheses were developed on psychological variables we studied and their truth was explained within acpuired findings. In the study fire special hypotheses were established from ane general hypothesis“Those who are external control believed ade more aggressive then those who are internal control believed”general hypothesis was supparted as we expected, some hypotheses related with sex were not supported as we expected.
