11 YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZ ÖZÜ SANAT EĞİTİMİNDE İMGE VE İMGENİN YERİ Yeliz OSKAY Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı Anadolu Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Eylül 2003 Danışman: Yrd. Doç. Metin İNCE Sanatın işi imgeler yaratmaktır bir anlamda. Sanatçı, dünyayı algılayış biçimini, düşlerini, hayallerini, düşüncelerini, duygularım imgeler yoluyla, imgelerine somutluk kazandırarak dışavurur. Çocukta tıpkı bir sanatçı gibi eline kağıt ve boyalan aldığı zaman, doğduğu günden itibaren zihninde kaydettiği, yeniden kurduğu (oynadığı oyunlarla, dinlediği masallarla, çevresinin etkisiyle) bütün imgelerini özgürce kullanır resimlerinde. Çocuk için bu etkinlik bir çeşit oyundur (renklerle, şekillerle, çizgilerle, boyalarla vb.) aslında. Olabildiğince özgür, bağımsız olmak, yaratıcılığını hiçbir kısıtlanma olmadan kullanmak ister. İmgelem gücü en yüksek seviyededir. Çocuğun eğitiminde imgesel düşünceye, yaratıcı imgelem gücüne ne kadar yer verilmişse o kadar özgür ve yaratıcı olacak, sağlıklı bir kişilik geliştirecektir. Dünyayla, çevresindeki insanlarla ilişkilerinde, kalıplara, kurallara takılıp kalmayacak, daha evrensel düşünecek ve yaşayacak, varolan düzenle ilgili kaygılarını, rahatsızlıklarım korkusuzca ifade edecek ve değiştirmeye çabalayacaktır. Bu araştırmada, çocuğun eğitiminde yaratıcı imgelem gücüne yeterince yer verilmediği düşünülerek, sanat eğitiminde imgeye ve ona bağlı süreçlere ne kadar yer verilmesi gerektiği araştırılarak açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma tarama modelindedir. İmgenin anlamı, tarihsel değişimi, eğitimde ve sanat eğitiminde imgenin gelişim süreci ile imgeyle bağlantılı olarak duyum, algı, imgelem, simge... gibi kavramlar da açıklanmış ve çocukta yaratıcı imgenin gelişiminin oyunla, teknolojiyle, çevreyle ilişkileri de araştırılarak yorumlar yapılmıştır.

Ill MASTER'S DESREETHESIS IMAGE AND PLACE OF IT IN THE EDUCATION OF ART Yeliz OSKAY Fine Arts Training Department Anadolu University Education Institute, September Advisor: Assistant Associote Professor Metin İNCE In a way the duty of art is to create images. The artist expresses his perception of the world, dreams, imagination, thoughts and feelings by ueais of images, with concretizing them. A child also exactly like the artist uses all the images freely in his/ her pictures which she/ he has coded and reconstructed (with the games she/ he played, the stories she/ he listened and the effect of the environment) since she/ he was borned when she/ he takes the paper and paints. In fact this activity is a kind of game for the child (with colours, shapes, lines and paints etc.). He/she wants to be free, independent and to use his creativity without any restriction as much as he/ she can. His power of imagination is on the highest level. The more imagionational thought and creative imagination power included in the child's education the more free and creative she/ he will be and the more sound character she/ he will have. She/ he will not deal with the forms and the rules in his/ her relations with the people around and the world, she/ he will think and live more universal, express his/ her dissatisfaction and anxiety without fear and will try to chance it. In this research how much the image and processes dependent to it should be included is searched for and tried to be explained with the thought that there is not efficient creative imagination power in the education of a child. This research is in the model of scanning. The meaning of image, historical variation (change), the developmental process of image in education and art education and in relation with image the concepts like; sensation, perception, imagination, symbol,... is explained and comments are made with an investigation about the relation of the improvement of child's creative image with environment and technology.
