Özet
ÖZET Mimari tasarım süreci, bir yapının oluşumundaki en önemli evredir. Bu evrede, yapıdan beklenilenler, kullanıcıların gereksinmeleri, taşıyıcı sistem, ürün, mimari özellikler, vb. gibi tüm konular, karara bağlanır. Daha sonraki yapım ve kullanım süreçlerinde oluşabilecek sorunlar, mimari tasarım sürecinde alınan kararlarla doğrudan ilişkilidir. Yapının bir sistem olarak ele alındığı be çalışmada, alt sistemler, süreçler ve elemanlar olmak üzere iki grupta toplanmıştır. Süreçler alt sisteminden mimari tasarım süreci,elemanlar alt sisteminden giydirme cephe elemanı, her alt sistemin olabileceği görüşü ile ele alınıp ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Sistemlerin ayn incelenmeleri sonunda geliştirilen yöntem, giydirme cephe tasarım sürecinde karar verme adımlarını içermektedir. Karar verme yöntemi olarak Yöneylem Araştırmasından yararlanılan bu çalışmada, giydirme cephe ve tasarım süreci sistemleri tek bir sistem gibi düşünülmüştür. Bu sistemin girdisini amaç ve kaynaklar, eylemini Yöneylem Araştırmasının adımlan ile mimari tasarım sürecinin evrelerinin birleştirilip, ilişkilendirilip, giydirme cepheye uygulanması oluşturmaktadır. Sistemin çıktısını ise, giydirme cephenin mimari tasarımı ile ilgili karar adımlan oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda: Giydirme cephenin tasarım sürecinde alman kararların yapım ve kullanım süreçleri için büyük önem taşıdığı; bu nedenle giydirme cephe tasarımcısının, belirli karar adımlan izlemesi gerektiği; karar adımlarının, giydirme cephenin çevresel etmenlerle ilgili kararlan içerdiği; kararların tasarım sürecinde açıkça ortaya konulması gerektiği belirlenmiştir.

ABSTRACT Architectural design process is an important period of building production. The expectations from building, user requirements, structural systems, architectural property, product, etc. were reached a decision in this process. Then, the factors that might be formed during construction and usage processes are directly related to decisions which are taken in the design process. Building was taken as a system divided to the sub-systems. These were divided in two parts as processes and elements. The process sub-systems was taken as the architectural design process and curtain wall element in the element sub- systems could be taken as a system. The determination of systems would provide a method that would include a decision making steps in curtain wall design process. As a decision making method, the operational research method was used. The curtain wall and design process systems were thought as one system. The inputs of the system were aims and sources. The processes of the system were the steps of operational research and architectural design. The inputs and processes were combined to obtain the application of curtain wall. The output of this system was the decision steps of the architectural design of curtain wall. As a result, the followings were obtained: the decisions that was obtained during the design process of curtain wall, have an importance in usage and construction periods; this would affect the designer of the curtain wall and the designer should seriously consider the decision steps; the environmental factors were important when the decision were taken for curtain wall design; it was observed that the decisions taken during the design process should be clearly put forward, recpectively.
