Özet
ÖZET Duvar gövdelerinin korunmasını sağlayan dış cephe kaplamalarında, her türlü etmenin etkisi ile sorunlar oluşmaktadır. Dış cephelere uygulanan granit, mermer, kireçtaşı ve traverten gibi doğal taş plak, brüt beton, yapay taş kaplı beton, gre seramik, gre mozaik, klinker plaklar, kuvars esaslı plaklar ve çimentolu yonga plaklar gibi yapay taş plak kaplamalarda, çeşitli etmenlerin etkisiyle oluşan sorunlar ve sorunlara karşı alınabilecek önlemler incelenmiştir. Oluşan sorunların ortaya konulmasıyla, tasarımcılara ürün seçiminde ve detaylandırmada yardımcı olunması amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada, ilk olarak dış duvar ve dış cephe kaplamaları tanımlanmıştır. Doğal ve yapay taş plak türleri bütün özellikleri ile anlatıldıktan sonra, bu plaklara etki eden etmenler, etmenler doğrultusunda oluşan sorunlar ve oluşacak sorunlara karşı alınabilecek önlemler açıklanmıştır. Dış cephelere uygulanan doğal ve yapay taş plak kaplamalar, ısı, su ve nem, zararlı gazlar, güneş ışınları, katı zararlılar, yangın, yükler ve kuvvetler gibi olumsuz etmenlerin etkisi altında kalmaktadır. Ayrıca plakların kendi özellikleri, tasarımda, uygulamada ve kullanımda yapılan hatalar, plaklarda sorun oluşturan etmenler arasında yer almaktadır. Bu etmenlerin etkisiyle plaklarda, aşınma, kirlenme ve lekelenme, çiçeklenme, solma ve eskime, parçalanma, çatlama ve yerlerinden kopma gibi sorunlar oluşmaktadır. Plakların teknik özellikleri göz önüne alındığında, traverten, brüt beton ve yapay taş kaplı beton plaklarda daha çok sorun oluştuğu gözlenmektedir. Doğal ve yapay taş plaklarda oluşacak sorunları önleyebilmek için; plaklara etki eden etmenler belirlenmeli, plak türü seçimi, detaylandırma ve uygulama bu etmenler doğrultusunda yapılmalıdır. Yapım sürecinde uygulamanın her aşaması yetkili kişilerce kontrol edilmeli ve yapı kullanıcılarının üzerilerine düşen görevleri tam olarak yerine getirmeleri gerekmektedir.

ABSTRACT The problems are occured due to the different factors on the external facade coatings which protect the wall structures. In this study, the problems which are formed by different factors on the natural stone plates as granite, marble, limestone, travertine, on the artificial stone plates as concrete, concrete with the artificial stone coating, kinds of ceramic, plate coating based on quartz, wood shavings with cement plate coatings and the measures which are taken towards to these factors were examined. The aim of this study is to help to architects for choosing the proper materials and planning for the detail of facade coatings. The first, external wall and external facade coatings were defined. After the whole properties of natural and artificial stone plate coatings were explained, the factors which affect the plates, the problems are happened due to this factors and the measures which will be taken towards these problems were explained. Natural and artificial stone plate coatings of external facade are affected by negative factors like heat, water and moisture, harmful gases, sun rays, solid detrimentals, fire, power and force. Some properties of the plates and the problems which can be done when designing, applying and using the materials are these negative factors on the plates. Because of them, the problems on the plates are abrasion, pollution, efflorescence, discolouration, cracking and breaking. When technical properties of plates are considered, most of the problems are occured on the travertine, concrete and concrete with the artificial stone coating. In order to take measures for the problems which will be occured on the natural and artificial stone plates, the factors should be determined. Choosing, designing the type of the plates and applications should be done according to this factors. Also during the each level of applications, the controls should be checked by the competent persons and the owner of building should do their duty.
