Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışma, tarım ve tarım-dışı olarak belirlenen İki toplulaştırılmış sektörden oluşan bir ekonomideki kısa-dönem makro talep uyumlaması mekanizmalarına ve bunların gelir dağılımı etkilerine ilişkindir. Aşağıda Giriş bölümünde, çalışmanın altında yatan analiz yönteminin bazı teorik öncülleri tartışılmıştır. Kısım II' de, bu mekanizmaların sayısal olarak incelenmesini sağlayan matematiksel model sunulmakta ve nasıl işlediği anlatılmaktadır. Kısım II 'de ayrıca modelin denge kararlılığı analitik bir açıdan incelenmiştir. Modelin 1978 ve 1983 yılları için Türkiye ekonomisine uygulanması ve buradan doğan sayısal sonuçlar kısım III 'de aktarıl maktadır. Bu kısım aynı zamanda dışsal şokların başlangıç dengesi üzerindeki etkilerini göstermeye yönelik sayısal deneyleri içermektedir. Kısım IV. modelin güçlü ve zayıf yönlerinin belirlenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi ile, sayısal simulasyonlar ve deneyler sırasında üretilen çıktılardan bazı sonuçlar türetmeye ayrılmıştır. iii

ABSTRACT This study is about the short-run demand adjustment mechanisms at the macro level, and their influences upon the pattern of income distribution for an economy with two aggregated sectors: agriculture and nonagriculture. Throughout Introduction, some theoretical antecedents of the line of analysis underlying this study are discussed. Part II discloses an exposition of the mathematical model which had been designed for a numerical treatment of the working of the main adjustment mechanisms, and a verbal description of the working of these mechanisms within the model framework. Part II ends following a discussion about the stability of model equilibrium in analytical terms. The implementation of the model for the Turkish economy in 1978 and 1983 and the numerical results arising therefrom are presented in Part III. This part of the study also covers a number of numerical experiments showing the effects of outside disturbances upon the initial state of equilibrium. Part IV consists of an assesment of the model's strong and weak aspects and some conclusions drawn from the model outcomes generated during simulations and experiments. ii
