Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Din eğitiminin Psikolojik temellendirilmesinde Freud ve Jung'un görüşlerinin tespit edilmesidir. Bu, iki nedenle önemlidir: Birincisi: Freud dini, bir çaresizlik, suçluluk ve yanılsamadan ibaret olduğunu belirterek bunun eğitiminin verilmesinin gereksizliği üzerinde durması, ikincisi de Jung'un din eğitimine bir değer atfetmesi, onu gerekli görmesidir. Psikanalitik açıdan dinin ve eğitiminin psikolojik temellerinin ortaya konması, din eğitimi bilimine teorik düzeyde katkıda bulunabilmesi açısından büyük bir öneme haizdir. Birinci bölüm, Sigmund Freud' un psikoloji anlayışını, psikanalizini, dinin kaynaklarına yaklaşım tarzını ve bugünkü modern toplumda dinin yeri konusundaki tutumunu ortaya koymaktadır. İkinci bölüm, Cari Gustav Jung'un Analitik Psikoloji anlayışını ve ona göre dinin psikolojik temellendirilmesinde en önemli merkez konumunda bulunan kolektif bilinçdışı ve onun içeriklerinden biri olan arketipler ve onun yansımalarını kapsamaktadır. Aynı zamanda Freud'un din eleştirisine Jung'un verdiği cevap da ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm, Freud ve Jung'un, dine psikolojik yaklaşımlarının, eğitim psikolojisi çerçevesinde, gelişim ve öğrenme üzerindeki etkileri, dinin kişilik gelişimindeki fonksiyonu, din eğitimi biliminin temellendirilmesi ve gerekliliği üzerine olumlu veya olumsuz tespitleri içermektedir. Çalışma, tez, antitez ve sentezle din eğitiminin pozitif bir değer taşıdığı sonucuna vararak, tezin genel bir değerlendirilmesi ile sona ermektedir.

ABSTRACT The essential aim of this research is to determination of Freud and Jung's ideas in the Psychological foundation of Religious Education, which is important for two main reasons. First, Freud argues that religion is consisted of illusion, helplessness and guilt; thus, he claims that religious education is not necessary. Secondly, Jung considers religious education as an important and valuable field. Psychoanalytic study of psychological foundations of religion and religious education is important from the standpoint that it will provide theoretical knowledge to religious education. The first chapter discusses Sigmund Freud's idea of psychology, psychoanalysis, and his approach to the origin and function of religion; besides, his attitude on the place of religion in today's modern society. The second chapter discusses Carl Gustav Jung's idea of analytical psychology, collective unconscious, and archetypes, which consist forms of religious expression. At the same time, Jung's response to Freud's critique of religion is examined in detail. The third chapter discusses influence of Freud and Jung's psychological approaches to religion in development and education from the perspective of psychology of Education. It also examines function of religion in the development of personality, and positive and negative argument about the foundation and the necessity of the science of religious education. This study, through use of thesis antithesis and synthesis reached the decision of religious education contains a positive value, and concludes with a general discussion and evaluation of the thesis.
