SUMMARY In this study, the negative effect of inflation on balance sheet items and“ anew evaluattion ”.one of the solutions of this problem,- were investigated. In the first section of the study, general instructions about inflation were given, the micro and macro effects of inflation, its effects on management accountancy and precautions for inflation were evaluated. In the second section, the effects of price movements on financial tables and on decisions of management council as well as precautions for price movements were explained. In the third section“ anew evaluation ”subject postulated for removing from the negative effect of price movements on various items in the financial tables, was detaily investigated. In the 4th section, the study made in“ Gudesan Gümüşhane Değirmencilik, Dericilik Tic. ve Sanayii A.Ş. ”in order to determine appliability of the method for“ anew evaluation ”and to determine the effect of inflation on balance sheet items was presented. In summary, we investigated present state of management and recommended several accountancy precautions for inflation. *=&&
