Özet

Eleştiri, bir sanat eserinin, çeşitli yönlerini inceleyerek bir yargı ile bildiren bir yazı türüdür. Eleştiriyi tarihsel süreç içinde yaratma ve yansıtma diye adlandırılan iki kurama dayandırmak mümkündür. Köken olarak Platon'un Devlet diyaloglarına dayandırılan yansıtma teorisi, sanatın doğayı, insanı ve yaşamı yansıttığım öne sürer. Bu yüzden bu görüşü savunanlar gerçek nesne ile onun yansıdığı ayna arasında bir ilişki kurmuşlardır. Yaratma teorisi ise Rönesansla başlayan bireycilik hareketinden doğmuştur. Bu teorinin günümüzde etkin olduğu söylenebilir. Yaratma teorisine göre, gerçekliğin yerini sanatçı almıştır. Dolayısıyla edebi eserde anlatılanlar, gerçekliğin yansıması değil, yeniden yaratılmış biçimidir. Günümüzde etkin olan tüm eleştiri okulları ve yöntemleri bu yansıtma ve yaratma kuramları çerçevesinde gelişmiştir. Tarihsel ve toplumsal koşulların da etkisiyle bu yana teoriye bağlı başka eleştiri okulları da ortaya çıkmıştır. Bunlardan biri de, edebi eseri dil sistemi olarak gören kuramdır. Bu kuram, metnin dil gibi gösteren gösterilen düzeylerinden oluştuğunu öne sürer. Metin çözümlemesinin de bu varsayımdan hareketle yapılması gerektiğini belirtir. Yapılan bu genel özetleme, Türkiye'deki edebiyat eleştirisinin tarihsel ve güncel durumuna uygun düşmektedir. Bir edebi tür olarak eleştiri yeni Türk edebiyatındaki yeri konulu tez çalışması, yukarıda belirtilen çerçeveye uygun bir şekilde yapılmıştır.

Critique is a literary genre that investigates various aspects of a (literary) work to make a judgement about it. It is pessible to perceive that, in its historical development, critique originates from two views, namely reflection and creation. Having dated back to Platon's dialogues in the State, the theory of reflection argues that art reflects the nature, the human being and the life. Therefore, the champions of this theory think that there is a connection between the real object and its reflection in the mirror. The theory of cretion comes out of the individualism in the Renaissance. It is possible to say that this theory is an influential view in the present time. The theory of creation contends that the reality has been replaced with the artist. Thus, whatever being told in a literary work is a recreated from of the reality rather than the reflection of it. Those all schools of critique and their methods, commenly used at the present time, have developped in the framework of the theories of reflection and creation. There have been other schools of critique emerged from there two main approaches with the influence of historical and social changes. One of them is a theory that considers the literary work to be a linguistic system. This theory argues that the text consists of the units of signified and signifier. A text therfore, should be analiyzed considering this theory. This general summary seems to be paralel with the historical and modern from of the literary critique in Turkey.290 This thesis, whose subject is critique as a literary genre and its place in modern Turkish literature, is completed in the framework explained above.
