Yavuz, Ömer Faruk, Kur'an'da Sembolik Dil, Doktora Tezi, Danışman: Doç. Dr. Ahmet Nedim Serinsu, I - XI, 1- 276 s. Özet Bu çalışmada, sembolik dil kuramı ve Kur' an' a uygulanması hakkında inceleme yapılmaktadır. Araştırmada iletişim bilimleri ve din dilinin kavram ve verilerini dikkate alan bir yöntem kullanılmıştır. Konunun önemi, amacı ve konuyla ilgili kavramlar ve çalışmada izlenen yöntemle ilgili bilgiler giriş kısmında verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde dilbilim, göstergebilim ve anlambilim çerçevesinde“sembol”incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde Kur' an dilinin karakteristik özellikleri ve Kur'an'a uygulanan dil kuramları ele alınarak Kur'an'ın mantıkî yapısı ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise din dili çerçevesinde tartışılan sembolik dil ortaya konularak Kur'an'ın sembolik dil yapısı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç başlığı altında ise çalışmada ulaşılan sonuçlar özetlenmiştir.

Yavuz, Ömer Faruk, The Symbolic Language in The Qur'an, Doctorate Thesis, Advisor: Doç. Dr. Ahmet Nedim Serinsu, I - XI, 1-276 p. Abstract In this thesis, the symbolic language-theory and its application to the Qur'an is studied. The study has used linguistics, semiotics and religious language's concepts and it has an introduction and three main chapters; The introduction has included importance, purpose of the subject and the method of subject. In the first chapter, the symbol brought to the light in the frame of linguistics, semantics and semiotics. Relationship of symbol with these sciences and the religious language is studied as well. The second chapter included characteristic of the Qur'anic language and theories of language which are applied to the Qur'an. In the same chapter the logical structure of the Qur'an is revealed too. In the third and last chapter, the symbolic language that have been discussed in the frame of religious language is studied and the symbolic structure of the Qur'an is brought forward. In the conclusion, the results have been pointed out.
