Özet

ÖZET Çalışmamızın hareket noktası Osmanlı Devleti'nin yükselme döneminden itibaren eğitim kurumlarında hangi kitapların okutulduğu ve Kâtip Çelebi'nin bahsettiği aklî ilimlerin Kânûnî döneminden itibaren program dışına çıkarılması fikridir. Araştırmamızın birinci bölümünde İslam dünyasının eğitim kurumlarını kendine örnek alan klasik dönem Osmanlı medreselerinin Osmanlı eğitim sistemindeki yapılanmasını incelemeye çalıştık. Medreselerin ortaya çıkışlarının ve tekâmül süreçlerinin tarihsel kronolojisinden ziyade, medrese geleneğinin oluşumunda etkin olan unsurları ve bu unsurların Osmanlı eğitim sistemindeki etkilerini ele almaya gayret ettik. Araştırmamızın ikinci bölümünde çalışmamızın temeli olan medrese programlarını ve Kâtip Çelebi'nin görüşleri ile ilgili şu sorulara cevap aramaya çalıştık. İncelediğimiz dönem itibariyle Osmanlı medreselerinde okutulan kitaplar nelerdir? Okutulan derslere ilişkin elimize ulaşan medreselerin ders programlan ile ilgili bilgi edindiğimiz resmî düzenlemeler mevcut mudur? Okutulan dersler hakkında fikir sahibi olmamızı sağlayan düzenlemeler bu konuda ne kadar bilgi vermektedir? Son bölümde ise okutulan ders kitaplarında zaman içerisinde herhangi bir değişiklik olup olmadığını belirlemeye çalıştık. Bu konuda sonuç olarak ulaştığımız bilgileri yorumlamaya ve dönemin eğitim sisteminde görülen aksaklıkları tespit etmeye gayret ettik. vı

ABSTRACT The starting point of our study is to find out which books were studied in the educational institutions from the beginning of the developing time of the Ottoman state and the idea that the rational sciences discussed by Katip Celebi should be removed in the curriculum from the period of time of Süleyman the magnificent. İn the first chapter, we tried to analyze how Ottoman medresah of the Classical era following the educational system of the islamic world were constituted within Ottoman educational system. We tried to focus on the factors that were effective on the formation of the medresah tradition and the effects of these factors in the Ottoman educational system rather than the chronological history of the formation and developmental processes of medresah. İn the second part of our research, we tried to search the which is the basic component of our research, and to answer the questions about Katip Celebi's opinion. What are the books that were studied in the Ottoman medresah in that particular period we search? Are there any official regulations that give information us about the curriculum in medresah school in terms of syllabuses? How much information can these regulations about school syllabus provide us in this subject? At the end of the chapter, we tried to determine whether there is a change or not on the studied lessons in the process of time. We finally tried to interpret the information we have got so far and to determine the problems of the educational system. VII
