Özet
Bu çalışma, Antik Dönem boyunca ortaya çıkıp gelişen İnsan Felsefesi (Sofizm) ile Kuşkucu düşüncenin merkezi savlarını oluşturan rölativizmi (göreliliği) incelemektedir. İnsan Felsefesi'nin gelişmesinde katkısı yadsınamayan Sokratik düşünce de ayrıca incelenip tartışılmıştır. Sofitlerle beraber Antik Dönem'in kurumsal ve kuramsal temellerine yönelik olarak başlatılan eleştiriler rölativizmin yüceltilmesiyle gerçekleşiyordu. Çalışmamız, bu eleştirilerin epistemolojik (bilgibilimsel) yönlerini ön planda tutmuş Kuşkucu argümanlara kadar uzanmaktadır. Antik Dönem boyunca ortaya çıkan Doğa Felsefesi ve sistemci felsefelere de değinen çalışma, Helenistik Dönem Kuşkucuları'nın argümanlarının incelenmesiyle sonuçlanmaktadır.

In this study, we interrogate the philosophy of man (the Sophist) and relativism which forms the central theses of the Sceptic thought, both of which are developed during Ancient philosophy. Even Socratic thought whose contribution to the development of the philosophy of man can not be denied is investigated and discussed with Sophists, critiques directed to the institutional and theoretical foundations are realized on behalf of the dignity of relativism. This study extends it's scope to the sceptic arguments which taker into account the epistemological aspects of the Sophists critiques. This study which also sheds light on the natural philosophy and systematical philosophies appeared in the antique period is concluded with the investigation of the sceptics arguments belonging to the Hellenistic period.
