Özet
ÖZET 'II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi'nde Siyasal Muhalefet' konulu bu tez, dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, siyasal muhalefet hakkında genel bilgi verildikten sonra, II. Meşrutiyet Döneminde siyasal muhalefetin baş aktörü olan Jön Türkler kısaca anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Nitekim Birinci Meşrutiyet Döneminde de siyasal muhalefetin odak noktası Jön Türkler olmuştu. İkinci bölümde, II. Meşrutiyeti hazırlayan nedenler, II. Meşrutiyet hareketinin siyasal ve yerel koşulları incelendikten sonra. Meşrutiyetin ilanı anlatılmış; daha sonra da bu dönemde oluşan siyasal muhalefet olayları ve özellikle 31 Mart Olayı üzerinde durulmuştur. Öte yandan dönemin önemli siyasal partileri hakkında bilgi verilmiş, siyasal programları anlatılmıştır. Yine bu bölümde“Meşrutiyet Döneminde Muhalefet”denince akla ilk gelen isimlerden olan Prens Sabahattin anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, dönemin önemli anayasal hareketlerinden biri olan 1909 Anayasa değişiklikleri üzerinde durularak parlamentarizme geçiş süreci incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca parlamentarizmin siyasal muhalefete nasıl bir etkide bulunduğu anlatılmıştır. Son bölümde ise, 31 Mart Olayı 'ndan sonra siyasette daha çok yer alan ordu ve ordunun siyasetle ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuş; ezilen muhalefetin yeniden canlanışı, iktidarı ele geçirişi ve Bab-ı Ali Baskını sonrası sona ermesi ve dönemin önemli siyasal partileri incelenmeye çalışılmıştır.

II ABSTRACT This dissertation titled ' Political Opposition under the II. Constitutional Regime' consists of four parts. In the first part, having generally explained the concept of political opposition, the Young Turks who where the leading actors of political opposition during the II. Constitutional period have briefly examined. They had far-reaching effects since they were also at the centre of political opposition during the I. Constitutional regime. In the second part, having concentrated on the reasons leading to II. Constitutional regime and this movement's political and surrounding area, the declaration of II. Constitutional regime and then the political opposition movements observed in this period and especially 31st of March Riots have been considered. Additionally the important political parties of this period and their political programmes have been evaluated. Prince Sabahattin who was the main political character of this period's opposition has also been analysed. In the third part, Constitutional amendments of 1909 has been examined and the process of transition to parliamentary regime has been taking into account. Furthermore, the effect of parliamentary regime on political opposition has been considered In the last part, the army which had taken important place in the politics after the 31st of March Riots and its relation with politics have been analysed Then, the weakening of suppressed opposition, their taking place the government; the collapse of the opposition and the important political parties of this period have been examined in detail.
