Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışma, 1997 yılından itibaren sekiz yıllık zorunlu temel eğitime geçiş süreciyle birlikte Kuran kurslarının eğitim ve öğretimleri üzerine bir alan çalışması olup, buralarda okuyan bir gurup öğrenci ve bu kurumlarda resmi görev yapan bir grup öğretici ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Araştırmada genel anlamda sekiz yıllık kesintisiz zorunlu eğitimden sonra Kur'an kurslarındaki eğitim ve öğretimin mevcut durumu tespit edilmeye çalı şılmış, karşılaşılan problemler, öğrencilerin eğilim ve beklentileri, öğreticilerin ders metodları, öğrenci problemlerini ele alış şekilleri ve müfredat gibi konular işlenmiştir Bu alan çalışmasına İstanbul Müftülüğüne bağlı Ümraniye, Bağcılar ve Sultanbeyli ilçelerine bağlı Kur'an kurslarından 120 kız ve 120 erkek öğrenci ve yine 18 kadın ve 21 erkek öğretici katılmıştır. Çalışma üç ana bölümde ele alınmıştır. Bu alan çalışmamıza giriş bölümü ile birlikte, birinci bölüm: Yaygın din eğitimi ve yaygın din eğitiminin yapıldığı alanlar, ikinci bölüm: Kur'an kurslarının tarihi gelişimi, üçüncü bölüm: Öğrencilere ve öğreticilere yapmış olduğumuz anket çalışmasının değerlendiril mesi, Sonuç kısmında ise bu anket bulguları neticesi değerlendirilmiş ve öne rilerle çalışma sonuçlanmıştır. Ayrıca yeri geldikçe her alandaki problemlere dikkat çekilerek alınması gereken tedbirler konusunda öneriler getirilmiştir.

SUMMARY The State of the Education in Qoran Schools After the Decree About Eight year compulsory education The thesis is a field study on the Qoran Schools and it is limited with a group of students and teachers in these schools I tried to describe the general state of education in Qoran schools after the decree about eight year compulsory education, the curriculum,the expectations and tendencies of the students, the teaching methods used by the teachers and their approaches to the problem of students. I took 240 students (half of them are girls) from Qoran schools in Ümraniye, Bağcılar and Sultanbeyli and 38 teachers (18 of them are women) as the sampling group of the study in the introduction, I gave a general outlook about the subject and goal of the study and its importance. In the first chapter, I gave information about mass (out of the schools) religious education in the second chapter, I described the historical development of Qoran Schools in the third chapter, I gave the results of the questionnaire and the evaluation of these results in the conclusion, There are some suggestions and some proposals shold be taken on the subject.
