Dr. Nur an HORTAÇSU Bu araştırma, Ankara İli' nin Aydınlıkevler ve Gaziosmanpaşa İlkokullarında birinci sınıfa devam eden yedi yaşındaki 120 çocuk üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı deneklerin ahlâki yargılarını cinsiyet, annenin eğitim durumu, kardeş sahibi olup olma ma durumu ve anaokuluna gidip gitmeme durumu değişkenle rinin etkileyip etkilemediğini incelemektir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre cinsiyet değişkeni açısından İkinci öykümde Tanrı Cezasına olan inanç ile ve Beşinci öykü Çifti' nde iyi niyet - bencil niyet ikile mi ile ilgili olarak yapılan yargılar arasında P < 0.05 değerinde önemli bir fark bulunmuştur. Annenin eğitim durumu değişkeni açısından İkinciIV Öykü' de Tanrı Cezası'na olan inanç ile, Dördüncü Öykü" de haklı - haksız kavramları ile ve Sekizinci öykü Çifti 'nde gerçeğin abartılması - bencil yalan ikilemi ile ilgili ola rak yapılan yargılar arasında P < 0.10 değerinde önemli bir fark bulunurken, Dördüncü öykü' de yine haklı - haksız kav ramları ile ilgili olarak yapılan yargılar arasında ise P < 0.05 değerinde önemli bir fark bulunmuştur. Kardeş sahibi olup olmama değişkeni açısından Dör düncü öykü'de haklı - haksız kavramları ve Yedinci Öyküvde ceza türlerini sıralama kombinasyonları ile ilgili olarak yapılan yargılar arasında P < 0.10 değerinde önemli bir fark bulunmuştur. Anaokuluna gidip gitmeme değişkeni açısından ise îkinci öykü'de Tanrı Cez'ası'na olan inanç ile, Altıncı Öy kü'de kendi aile ve grupları ile ve Sekizinci öykü'de de gerçeğin abartılması - bencil yalan ikilemi ile ilgili o- larak yapılan yargılar arasında P < 0.05 değerinde önemli bir fark bulunmuştur.

Prof. Dr. Nuran HORTAÇSU This research was. carried out on 120 first grade and seven year age children of Aydınlıkevler and Gaziosman paşa primary schools in Ankara. The main purpose of this study was to review whether the moral judgments of the subjects was affected by sex, educational status of mothers, number of the siblings and going to the nursery school. According to the findings, from the view of sex there was a significant difference (P < 0.05) between the judge ments about immanent justice in Second Story and about the dilemma of good intention and selfish intention in the Fifth Story Pair. When there was a significant difference at P < 0.10 value according to the educational status of mother betweenvi the judgements about immanent justice in the Second Story, the judgements about being right and being wrong in the Fourth Story and the judgments about the dilemma of exag gerating the fact and selfishlie in the EighthStory Pair, at the Fourth Story again between the judgements related to the right - wrong concepts a difference was found signi ficant at P < 0.05 value. When having siblings var i able was considered, bet ween the judgments of the right-wrong concepts in the Fourth Story and the judgments about the grading combi nations of the punishment kinds in the Seventh Story, there was a significant difference at the level of P < 0.10. From the view point of going to nursery school variable between the judgements about immanent justice in the Second Story and the judgements about their own family and groups in the Sixth Story and the judgments in the dilemma of exaggerating of the fact and selfish lie in the Eight Story there was a significant difference at P < 0.05.
