ABSTRACT There are a lot of music theorists throught the Clasical Turkish Music history. But some of then had been successful to pass to the agenda. On the other hand if we talk about the written article of the music, it can be understood easily that the music theorios are very importent for Turkish music life. Musical notes used by all of the world was began to use during the II.Mahmut period. Until this period, the written articles of music of Safiyüddin Abdülmü'min Urmevi, Kantemiroğlu, Hamparsum and Ali Ufki had been used. These articles had not been in demond by the other people. But it is certain that they have importand roles to arrive the works from the past to the present. One of the works studied on is Tahririye. Tahririye is a subordinate work of Tetkik ve Tahkik of Nasır Abdülbaki Dede. In Tahririye, Nasır Abdülbaki Dede mentioned a written article of music formed by ebced letters. Written articles are important for the history of Turkish music, so we choose the Tahririye to work on. This study is divided in to 3 parts. In the first part, there are Nasır Abdülbaki Dede' s life and works of him. In the second part, transcription alphabet to form a background and in the second part, printed forms for filling in statics of transcription alphabet to form a background and classical ebced written article of music are very important. But in the third part, firstly Tahririye was translated the present version of IILSelim's Suzidilara Ayin-i Şerif and Tahririye were compared. Nasır Abdülbaki Dede determined some rules for written artides of music. We also determine these rules in this work. In addition in our translation writing, the extensions of words are showed as“â-î-û”and number of page is some as the number of page of orginal writing. We use writing of music instead of writing of musical notes, this is because there are other writings of music such as ebced and tabulator. And this is wrong if we say all of them are writings of notes. We hope that our work will be a source for the other works.Finally, thanks for helps to my advisor Doç.
