ÖZET YENİ FOÇA'DA KORUMA VE SA?LIKLAŞTIRMAYA YÖNELİK BİR ÖNERİ- TİCARET MERKEZİ VE YAKIN ÇEVRESİ İÇİN BİR ÖRNEK ÇALIŞMA ASLANTAŞ, Ali Cem Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Restorasyon, Mimarlık Tez Yöneticisi: Ögr. Gör. Necva AKÇURA Eylül 1990, 1.6.6... Sahife Yeni Foça 19. yüzyılın sonu ve 20. yüzyılın başında sosyal, ekonomik ve demografik açıdan ileri düzeye ulaşmış bir yerleşkedir. Çalışma konusu olan ticaret merkezi ve yakın çevresi, bugün de tarihsel süreçte oluşmuş fiziksel özelliklerini korumaktadır. Çalışma altı bölümde toplanmıştır. Giriş bölümünden sonraki ikinci bölümde Yeni Foça'nın tarihsel gelişimi detaylı olarak incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise kentin fiziki ve sosyo-ekonomik yapısı, doku özellikleri ve tarihi nitelikli yapıları analiz edilmiştir. Dördüncü bölüm, çalışma alanının analizini; çevre değerleri, fiziksel, mimari ve sosyo-ekonomik yapıyı kapsamaktadır. Alanın sorunları ve olanakları beşinci bölümünde değerlendirilmiş ve buna göre alt bölgeler belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca Yeni Foça'nın turizm potansiyeli ve sosyo-ekonomik yapısı irdelenmiştir.Altına bölümde alanın korunması için karar ve öneriler saptanmıştır. ABSTRACT A PROPOSAL FOR PRESERVATION AND REHABILITATION OF YENÎ FOÇA- A CASE STUDY IN COMMERCIAL CENTER AND ITS IMMEDIATE SURROUNDINGS ASLANTAŞ, AH Cem M.S. Restoration, Architecture Supervisor : Inst. Necva AKÇURA September 1990, 1.68.pages Yeni Foça settlement has reached to its highest level in terms of social, economic and demographic aspects, at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. Study area; commercial center and its immediate surrounding still preserves its original physical character as evaluated in the historical process. The study has been realized under six significant chapters. In the second chapter, next to the introduction, the historical evolution of Yeni Foça has been comprehensively studied. In the third chapter, socio-economic and physical structure of Yeni Foça with its urban texture and characteristics, particularities and finally the buildings which have historical qualities have been analysed. Also, fourth chapter covers the analythical evaluation of study area; and the environmental particularities, physical, architectural and socio-economic structures of Yeni Foça. -iii-The problems and the potentials of the study area have been taken in to discussion in the fifth section and according to this evaluation, zoning study have been clarified. On the other hand in this part, tourism potential and the present socio-economic structure of Yeni Foça are discussed. Finally the sixth and the last chapter, is about detailed rehabilation and the proposals and decisions due to preservation of study area.
