Özet
Ill ÖZET“Tam Zamanında Üretim Sistemi”(TZÜ) dünyadaki en gelişmiş ve en verimli üretim sitemlerinden bir tanesidir. Bu sistemin hedefi verimli bir yan sanayi geliştirerek ve organizasyondaki çeşitli fonksiyonları birleştirip üretim maliyetlerini düşürmektir. Özellikle TZÜ sisteminin en önemli faydası, üretim ve satınalma departmanları arasındaki verimi geliştirip düşük stok seviyeleri sağlamaktır. Bu çalışmada, TZÜ sistemine dayalı bir yaklaşım ve bu sistemin çeşitli ülkeİer ve organizasyondaki uygulamaları gösterilmektedir. TZÜ sisteminin uygulanışı kolay değildir ve üretim sistemin başarılı olabilmesi için verimli yan sanayi gibi bir çok ön hazırlık şartları vardır. Bu nedenle az gelişiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerin pazarlarındaki zayıf ve yetersiz yan sanayilerinden dolayı önemli dezavantajları vardır. Bu çalışmanın TZÜ sisteminin Türkiye'de nasıl uygulandığını anlamak ve TOYOTASA'da (Türkiye'de ki en tanınmış ve verimli şirketlerden birisi) bu sistemi uygulama çabalarını göstermektedir.

IV SUMMARY Just in Time (JIT) production system is one of the most advanced and efficient production system in the world. The goal of the system is to reduce the cost of production through developing an efficient supply chain and presents various functions in the organization. In particular stock requriements for inputs and improved efficiency between manufacturing and purchasing departments are the most important outcome of the JIT system. The purpose of this study was to present a detailed review of the JIT approch system and it's application in orginazations across countries. It's pointed out that implementation of JIT system is not an easy task and there are several prequisite conditions, such as availability of efficent suppliers, for the success of the system in a particular production environment in that respect, less developed and developing countries have signicant disadvantages due to weak and inefficient suppliers in the market. This study was an attempt to understand how the JIT system is applied in Turkey and presents the outcomes of such implementation affects to this and TOYOTAS A one of the most efficient and well known company in Turkey efforts to implement JIT system in the organization.
