Özet
OFİS BİNALARINDA EYLEM ALANLARININ ERGONOMIK ÇÖZÜMLENMESİ ÖZET Günümüzde, bilgisayar yaşamın bir parçası haline gelmiştir. İnsanlar ekran başında saatlerce oturarak çalışmaktadır. Hızla gelişen teknolojinin bürolara girmesi ve en önemli iletişim aracı olarak bilgisayarların iş yaşamında yerini almasıyla, mobilyalarda ve büroların yerleşim planlarında değişiklik yapılması gerekliliği doğmuştur. Eski mobilyalara ek yapılması, yerlerinin değiştirilmesi ya da bilgisayar kullanımına uygun yeni mobilyalar alınması ve büroların yeniden planlanması gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle bu araştırmanın amacı; yeni iş hayatma ve çalışma koşullarına uygun iş istasyonlarının tasarım ilkelerini ortaya koymak olmuştur. Telekomünikasyon alanındaki teknolojik gelişmelerin ve buna bağlı olarak iş yaşamındaki değişimlerin, iş istasyonlarına uyumu için, yeni gereksinmelerin ve kullanıcı olan insanın fizyolojik ve psikolojik ihtiyaçlarının tespiti, iş istasyonu düzenlemelerinde ergonomik açıdan dikkat edilmesi gereken hususların belirlenmesi bu araştırmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma, giriş ve sonuç bölümleri ile beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümü olan birinci bölümde; araştırmanın amacı ve kapsamı, konunun araştırılma nedenleri açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise; ofis binalanndaki eylem alanlarının yani çalışma ünitelerinin ergonomik tasarımında etkili olan anahtar kavramların tanımlarına yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; ofis binalarında eylem alanlarının kullanıcısı olan insan faktörü ele alınmış, kullanıcı gereksinmeleri ve konfor şartlan incelenmiştir. Bir mekanda bulunması gereken minimum düzeydeki nitelikleri belirleyen gereksinmelerin karşılanamaması durumunda karşılaşılmakta olan problemler irdelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde; ofis binalanndaki eylem alanlannın özellikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma ünitesinin ergonomik boyutlan, konfor düzeyi, çalışan insanın gereksinmeleri, planlama kriterleri ve ekipman seçimleri ele alınmıştır. Sonuç bölümü olan beşinci bölümde ise; çalışmanın önemi belirtilerek genel değerlendirme yapılmıştır.

ANALYZING THE WORKSTATIONS IN OFFICE BUILDINGS WITH AN ERGONOMIC APPROACH SUMMARY For todays computer have been the essential part of our daily lives. Traditional office-works have started to disappear slowly. People spend most of their times by using computers. Because of the rapid improvements in the new technologies and the computers taking place in the working area as the most important communication tool, the interior designs of the offices and the equipments have been urged to change dramatically. New additions to the old equipments, relocating the equipments according to the usage of computer or designing new equipments or workplaces, workstations have all been obligatory. At the end of technological changes, the business-world is in a great transition period. New organization models, new aspects of work, new planning criteria for workstations and offices have been a very important force on the development of office furnitures. For this reason the main objective of this thesis has been to specify the design principles of the workstations, or in other words work units, appropriate to the new business-life and working conditions. For the integration of the changes in the communication technologies and as a result of this the changes in the working conditions and habits to the the workstations, the determination of the new requirements, the physiological and psychological demands of the occupants, and also the factors which has to be cared for in order to improve an ergonomic approach to the workstation designs are the most important subjects of this thesis, are the most important subjects of this thesis. This study is composed of 5 chapters involving the introduction and evaluation chapters. As being the introduction part in the first chapter; the aim and the extent of the research heve been defined, and also the reasons for examining this subject have been explained. In the second chapter; the keywords, which were the essentials about the design of the workstations in an ergonomic manner, has been defined. In the third chapter; as being the user of the work areas the human factor has been explained according to his requirements and also the needed comfort conditions. When the minimum requirements have not been supplied, the problems tat werw faced have been determined. VIIn the fourth chapter; the qualifications of the work units have been specified. The ergonomic aspects of the workstations, comfort levels, the requirements of the occupants, the design principles and hte equipment selections have been determined. In the fifth chapter; an evaluation has been made and also the importance of the subject of the thesis has been explained. Vll
