Özet
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, kayıp yaşamış çocuk ve ergenlere yönelik psikolojik destek sürecinde rol alan kilit destek figürlerinin (ebeveynler ve okul psikolojik danışmanları) deneyimlerini ve ihtiyaçlarını derinlemesine incelemektir. Araştırma, bu iki kritik sistemin yas sürecini nasıl yönettiklerini, karşılaştıkları zorlukları ve etkili bir destek için ihtiyaç duydukları kaynakları fenomenolojik bir bakış açısıyla ortaya koymayı hedeflemiştir. Nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgubilim (fenomenoloji) deseni ile yürütülen çalışmanın örneklemini; amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen 8 ebeveyn ve 7 okul psikolojik danışmanı oluşturmuştur. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen sosyo-demografik bilgi ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Görüşmeler ses kaydına alınmış, deşifre edilmiş ve MAXQDA yazılımı kullanılarak içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Analiz sonucunda ebeveynlere ilişkin“Çocukların Yas Deneyimi ve Uyum Çabaları”,“Ebeveyn Deneyimi”ve“Ebeveyn İhtiyaçları”temaları öne çıkmıştır. Bu kapsamda ebeveynlerin çocuktaki yas tepkilerini anlamlandırmada zorlandıkları, ebeveynlik rolünde kontrol güçlüğü yaşadıkları ve kendi yaslarını gizleyerek güçlü görünme çabası içinde oldukları saptanmıştır. Okul psikolojik danışmanlarına ilişkin ise“Çocuklarda Kayıp Sonrası Yaşanılan Süreç”,“Psikolojik Danışman Deneyimi”ve“Psikolojik Danışman İhtiyaçları”temaları belirlenmiştir. Danışmanların ebeveyn direnci ve kurumsal sınırlılıklar gibi sistemsel zorluklarla karşılaştıkları görülmüştür. Araştırma bulguları, çocuğun destek ekosistemindeki (ev ve okul) koordinasyon eksikliklerini ve her iki destek figürünün de yas sürecinde çocuğa destek olurken belirli destek hizmetlerine gereksinim duyduğunu göstermiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, ilgili literatür ve alana yönelik müdahale programları geliştirme bağlamında tartışılmıştır.

The main purpose of this research is to examine in depth the experiences and needs of key support figures (parents and school psychological counselors) involved in the psychological support process for children and adolescents who have experienced loss. The research aimed to reveal from a phenomenological point of view how these two critical systems manage the grieving process, the difficulties they face, and the resources they need for effective support. Conducted with a phenomenological design, a qualitative research method, the study group consisted of 15 participants: 8 parents and 7 school psychological counselors determined by purposeful sampling. Data were collected through socio-demographic information forms and semi-structured interview forms. All interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed, and analyzed using the content analysis method with MAXQDA software. As a result of the analysis, the themes of“Children's Grief Experience and Adaptation Efforts”,“Parent Experience”, and“Parent Needs”emerged regarding the parents. It was found that parents had difficulty making sense of children's grief reactions, faced challenges in their parenting roles regarding control, and struggled to appear strong by hiding their own grief. Regarding the school psychological counselors, the themes of“Process Experienced After Loss in Children”,“Psychological Counselor Experience”, and“Psychological Counselor Needs”were determined. It was observed that counselors encountered systemic difficulties such as parental resistance and institutional limitations. Research findings have shown coordination deficiencies in the child's support ecosystem (home and school) and that both support figures require specific support services while supporting the child during the bereavement process. The research results were discussed in the context of relevant literature and the development of intervention programs for the field.
