Özet
ÖZET Metro istasyonlarının mekan oluşumlarında etkili olan, teknoloji, estetik ve sanatsal değerler, ekonomi, antropometrik... vb. öğelerin ele alındığı, metro istasyon ve mezanin iç donatılan ve möbleleri adlı tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, Dünya'da ilk defa hizmet vermeye başlayan Londra Metrosu ve tez içinde çokça kullanılacak olan terimlerin anlamlarına yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise, diğer metro iç mekanlarından farklı olarak, siyasi rejimin mimariye yansımasını Stalin Dönemi Moskova Metrosunda, sanatsal akımların serbestçe sergilendiğini Stockholm metrosunda ve otantik iç mekan oluşumlarını Singapur Metrosunda irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, metro iç mekanların biçimlenmesi ve bunu etkileyen teknolojik ve fiziksel etkenler incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise, metro istasyonu iç mekan biçimlenmesini etkileyen tüm gereksinimler ortaya konularak, analizleri yapılmış ve çağdaş bir iç mekan olgusunun nasıl olması gerektiği ortaya konmak istenmiştir. Metro istasyonları ile ilgili yapılan analizler sonucu beşinci bölümde, iç mekan oluşumuna etki eden etmenlerin yanı sıra, estetik, boyutsal ve biçimsel gereksinimlerin, iç mekan, donatı, möble, vagon... vb. gibi tasarımlardaki etkisi incelenmek istenmiştir.

Ill ABSTRACT: The technological, aesthetical and art values, economical, anthropometrical... etc. means of the subway stations are examined in the thesis titled as“ Subway Stations and Furniture and interior Objects of Mezzanines”. The thesis consist of five chapters. In the first chapter,“London Subway”which serves as the first subway in the world is considered and general terms are explained. In the second chapter,“The Moscow Subway”in the period of Stalin, affected by the political regime;“The Stockholm Subway”affected by the art movements and“ The Singapore Subway”affected by the authentic cultures of their own, are examined. In the third chapter, the formation of the subway interiors and the technological and physical effects are examined. In the fourth chapter, all the interior needs of the subways are considered and contemporary interior space of the subway stations in today's world is discussed. In the fifth chapter, besides the elements which affects the formation of the interior space, the aesthetical, dimensional and formal needs of the subway stations are determined.
